@@nprcowboy out of curiosity what is your first name? where do you live? thank you for continuing to post your updates I think many of us feel like we know you (i do) listening to your problems sadly, only being able to help by kind words i hope they mentally make you feel a little better i can't even begin to imagine everything you have gone through these past months you continue to show your strength, endurance continue to fight, be strong your docs sound like they know what they are doing they will/must get to the root of your problem then fix it you might be losing this battle i know you eventually will win the war good thoughts and vibes being sent your way sending hugggggs and a kiss too take care feel better, plllllease kathy

@@Kimcamm Glad you aren't "stalking" us anymore you were "brave" and got out of the cold to come join us in our warm room you were a smart cookie to realize you weren't ready for surgery last year i think it takes someone strong to put the brakes on anything especially surgery!!! now that i have established that you are a smartie pants glad you are here glad you have been coming back and forth gathering information sounds like you are prepared, excited and ready for surgery hope you are approved sooner than later good luck kathy

@@CheleLynn45 you "probably" did eat too fast i have eaten faster than i should on a rare occassion i also have never vommited since surgery but............i can count on one hand when i realllly ate too fast and got into trouble i got all hot and clammy felt like i was going to die seriously i laid down (fell asleep) for 1/2 an hour when i got up felt fine (except i was very mad at myself!) slow down with your eating apologize to Sherman not to rub it in but i am having a great day as usual your day will get better too 64 lbs gone south keep up the good job i know you will kathy congrats

@@Samantha&Sunshine sooooooo what happened??? i have heard many areas didn't get as much snow as was predicted buttttttttttttttt.....others got hit as hard as expected it must be very disappointing/upsetting wouldn't be surprised if some docs spent the night at the hospital due to the possible snow storm even though you are only 20 minutes from the hospital if you can't see the nose in front of your face (no joke) not worth the possible safety issues / possible accident if "they" have to post-pone, sorry you will be rescheduled the sleeve surgery WILL happen the wait will be worth it (comforting, easy words to say, but doesn't really help you much ) good luck kathy

@@stacyamanda32 2months PO down 33 lbs keep up the good work i hear mmmmany people are also lucky with the shoe issue never happened with me the first time i saw a post concerning shoe sizes/shrinkage i laughed!!! i thought "are you kidding me" what, why would your shoe size go south i understood pretty quickly after reading responses i have been a 9 wide forever no change shoe size didn't get smaller but i DID kathy congrats

@@kenb79 YES oooops took an extra silly pill this morning instead of my Vitamins most people are going through "a lot' of different emotions post op (like OP have said) "maybe" the hormone thing in my opinion the different feelings (anger, impatience ie) are just set off because you are going through a whole new experience you are dealing with food issues not eating so much etc i met with your therapist last night i agree with her "diagnosis" give yourself a break try not to stress toooo much (easier said than done) you have lost 100 lbs!! you are a new member of the century club your body and you are experiencing new things keep up the good work good luck kathy

@@Ladiec2 that's great that the "waiting game" is over, and you won!! i was surprised/amazed when i got my surgery date i had just met with my surgeon i went to the front desk and they said" lets look for a date" huh, what did i miss??? she looked at her calendar saw a date doc was available i could have surgery then penciled me in!!! that was it!!! i proceeded the next day or two, started to jump through the hoops of finsurance today - 3 years later i'm sitting here sitting pretty "cute as a button" maintaining goal these past 2 years living and loving life to the fullest!!! who would have thunk??? kathy

@@saruuhjean welcome, welcome , welcome great to have a new family member to our "little" group sorry about your gas pains in the shoulder having trouble drinking Water i have heard people having trouble drinking some water but not the description you are referring to (bricks etc. ) try drinking room temperature water that might do the trick popsicles are great i luv the taste at least its "kindof" a liquid will help "wet your whistle", dry mouth BUT..........keep plugging away with the water important to get in as much water as possible don't worry about the Protein yet if you don't drink enough you might get dehydrated i guess some people can take 3-4 months before they can drink properly/successfully i "think" that might be the exception not the rule that wasn't the case with me - i never had problems drinking water (thats just me) you had surgery this past monday things "should" start improving daily we all react differently po - recovery that one incision "should improve shortly", give it time "the one thing we have in common is that we're all different" "God Grant Me Patience, Just Hurry Up About It" you hurt when you breathe??? STOP breathing!!! no better not, then you'll have more problems congrats on your pre-op weight loss - and weight loss now good luck welcome to sleeveland kathy

@@BLERDgirl troll, why would anyone come here and do that???? you wouldn't know this to look at me i am very naive i will never understand why there are people that do such horrible things ie target, kmart, banks the thing that i don't understand is that it seems like "the day after computers" were "made" the spammers already came doesn't matter if you have spam blockers or not my husband "lives" in computer land he is a systems programer he is always telling to change passwords etc again, i guess i live in la la land just don't like to think about "bad people" but there all out there kathy

@@Kindle you win the prize so far for worst weather/surgery story sounds like you didn't panic thought about your options and the smarty pants you are you figured out what to do i don't do well with stress i would have totally freaked!!! screaming running in circles @@Samantha&Sunshine your fears are understandable going to the hospital early, what a smartie are you?? surgeon, other staff also should/will be prepared for the snow storm doesn't help to expect the worst hopefully things will work out tomorrow but IF you must postpone .............. GET OVER IT surgery will happen you've waited a long time to get the sleeve a few more days won't kill you (I don't think they will ) fingers, toes crossed good luck bud kathy

@@Countrygrrl i have a sleeve of steel i can eat anything (not sure if that is necessarily a good thing ) one taste did change for me post op COFFEE i always loved the smell of my hubby's coffee never had any desire to drink it i love coffee now i know i know, there are various "discussions" of do or do not drink coffee well, i am a "doer" 1-2 cups a day i drink it because i enjoy the taste ALSO because it (anything hot) makes my tummy happy and full 41 lbs down!!! thats great twoderville too!!! keep up the good work kathy @@macman - nice to see your handsome smiling face again

@@csg hi i have issues about both your above statements many people have WLS in their 60's we are initially getting surgery to improve our health but lets be real, we want our appearance to improve too if you don't have plastics - losing the weight can't help but make you look better good luck kathy
