Water? Is it hard to get it down?

@@utahgirll the common/frequent expression on the board is "the one thing we have in common, is that we're all different" post op i had no problems drinking water some people do have issues/problems drinking for awhile drinking room temperature water helps some people many others add crystal lite for flavor you are told at first to take small sips at a time eventually/shortly when "you grow up" your NUT will tell you its ok to drink more than sips at a time eventually being able to gulp "i'll give it a 95% that maybe/probably/kindof/hopefully/i doubt/not sure/most likely you will not have any problems drinking water that is what i definitely know (i think) ;)" actually - i'm not sure  good luck hun I am excited for your new healthier, happier, longer life good luck speedy recovery kathy @@LipstickLady the specific sentences with the quotation marks was written with you in mind hope you liked it

    Sharp Pain while shoveling

@@esskay77 none of us are doctors - but you already know that have you ever had pain in that area before?? i have shoveled in the past, and i know heavy lifting is no fun can get sore during shoveling - or a few hours later, or the next day if you were one week++ not far after surgery i would definitely say there is a strong possibility of problems with the incision area but at one year don't know if that area hurting could be a coincidence in other words, covering my small assss - i don't know if it makes you feel better, call the doc rather be safe than sorry i'm sure you lost a lot of weight this past year keep up the good job sooooo congrats good luck kathy

  14. @@bangbangbarbie oh oh bud there are only two guarantees in life Death & Taxes "is the plan for most of you to lose the weight then maintain?" yep that is it - in spades!!! most of us have been able to lose their weight over and over and over etc i was able to lose weight one time, then another time, then a third time etc etc the problem was keeppng the lbs off a All WLS work 99.99999% (lapband, sleeve, bypass etc) but IT doesn't "work" on its own you MUST follow all the rules from A-Z this is a lifetime journey you have a lot of work to do "it" doesn't stop once you reach goal Losing weight IMO is the easier part of WLS now you must continue to use all the info you have info you have learned for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life i learned on the board that the sleeve has been around for a lllllllong time docs were successfully using it to help people with stomach cancer slowly as time passes there are more and more info stats about the sleeve i am po 3 years - and am still around to talk about it that must say something!!! i think the sleeve is wonderful that would be my choice for you course i am slightly biased good luck kathy
