I feel like i am not sleeved
ProudGrammy replied to happpy3's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@happpy3 since you didn't mention otherwise, sounds like surgery and recovery went well? you feel surgery has failed because you are still having cravings??? many people have cravings, hunger etc after surgery these cravings etc go away for many after surgery but not for everyone your weight loss is good loosing 10 lbs in a month is average/good weight isn't go to fall off overnight I wish it did, but doesn't work that way continuing to follow all the rules you will lose the weight you are eating so few calories, the weight will/must come off repeating though, you have been doing well not sure why you think the sleeve isn't working for you?? you have a nutritionist who has given you lots of good advice, right?? what stage are you on?? full liquids, purees, soft, solids etc if you are still on liquids, puree, even softs you won't feel much or any restriction til you eat solids that is when you will start to feel the restriction/help of the sleeve your English and typing are great so are you glad you joined our board the more the merrier i know you can do this good luck kathy -

@@dhrguru congrats on getting your new job coinciding new job/along with new weight loss kindof sounds cool but rotten timing your new job starts Monday?? 2 weeks later is surgery?? its good that you've already told new boss about pending surgery did you tell her you are having WLS? how did she react ?? pre-op you "should" be able to work i would try not to take any time any off before WLS save that time for PO taking a couple of weeks off is frequently enough PO don't automatically think you will need more time off i have read many times that people go in and out friday back to work monday i think that is a little extreme, it does happen hopefully you "only" have the minor common side effects of surgery gas, tiredness etc if you still aren't feeling the best but you know you could/should start work ask your boss now, "just in case" if you could work 1/2 days for a week or so after your 2 weeks is up if the reaction is not the best.... move your surgery date back a couple of months I wouldn't love that but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do but jeopardizing your new job??? you wouldn't want to do that either hard choices weigh your options carefully you'll come to the right decision for you good luck with surgery (work too) speedy recovery kathy
