exercise - when to start?
ProudGrammy replied to Katie Loesch-Meyer's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@Katie Loesch-Meyer "official" or not you are getting a lot of exercise from your daily routine going shopping, making beds, cooking meals that sounds like a lot for someone who is tired, weak try and take it slower i can only imagine it must be hard for you to deal with the kids daily needs can someone help you??? family/friend/me??? hubby or significant other?? THEY need to pick up the slack!! during the day, or night ,hubby or other might be working hope you can find someone to come over and give you a break so you can rest even if its only a few days i'm available on tuesdays and thursdays when the kids are home i can help with the cleaning (you don't want to taste my cooking) ask your doc about when you can go back to the gym don't hold your breath, gym might be a bit in the future don't rush it you'll hear good advice, experience from others but at the end of the day....... ONLY listen to your doc/NUT (me too of course ) TRY and get some rest sweet dreams who deserves them more good luck to you kathy -

The Easy Way Out" yeah right i hope Paul can change his ways/lifestyle maintenance is/can be very hard he needs to continue to follow plan forever small portions Protein 64 oz of water+ etc he is starting to experience wonderful NSV's ie showering standing, no more wheelchair, sensation in feet, able to walk, getting in and of bed easier many more NSV's to come i hope he can continue being successful best wishes being sent his way Kathy -

Repeatedly overeating
ProudGrammy replied to NoBsVs's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@@NoBsVs despite what other people might say (family, friends etc) surgery is NOT the easy way out "probably" others share your problem about eating too much at times you/me/we can't change yesterday concentrate on today, tomorrow we can learn from our mistakes "concerned" scared about possible complication??? this could be a good motivator for you to slow/knock off the overeating get back on track you got to your heaviest weight by overeating and eating too fast you must not repeat your past history (please ) easier said than done remember don't eat so fast nobody is gonna grab your plate away "sounds" like you know the basic rules what to do, but having trouble following you could use/need some support - lots of it we are all great, right there for you but.............personal interactions would be helpful too do you have meetings you can go to??? meeting/hearing other people in your situation can help talk about your problems, hear their problems too one hand washes the other talk to you NUT/doc about your dilema maybe they can be nice and patient and talk to you whisper sweet nothings in your ear i have confidence in you that you can/will get past this "phase"? and stop overeating you will conquer this you have lost 20 lbs PO that's great!! good luck best wishes kathy -
@@VSGAnn2014 funny how "we" change at different time periods for various reasons i used to do WW (a few times ) i would see silly people take off jewelry, this and that to weigh less i have seen others here adding stuff to increase their weight never heard about the stuffing bra sounds very "full filling" glad it helped/worked!! look at you now down 89 lbs - goal you look terrific keep up the good work my friend kathy @@HopeandAgony didn't forget you no experience with your issue (lower BMI) for good or bad, i didn't have that problem before surgery i agree to talk to your doc maybe" anonymously" call your insurance company explaining your BMI situation it is ridiculous that if you loose to much weight- you might be disqualified as @@Miss Mac said,,,,,,, "My insurance accepted my original weight and BMI at consultation." hopefully all will go well for you just in case........... you can always appeal what insurance says don't just throw in the towel and say oh well good luck kathy
