    Going Crazy!

Laura, Every item you described to be eatting are things that make me stuck. Especially if the chicken is breast and dry, and any type of potato. Some veggies make me stuck and definetly I can't eat pasta! Try going back on liquids/mushy foods for a few days to let your tummy rest and then reintroduce those foods at a later time. It may just be that your still really swollen, and you need to take it slower. Good luck, and do have your doctor take a look at you.

    New and hoping...

Welcome Kaci, Sorry I don't have any suggestions regarding insurance. I was one of the lucky ones who had no trouble getting the insurance company to pay. My husband's company is self insured. I just wanted to say Hey! and welcome.

    Port position

Mine is currently in my waist line area. It has flipped and I think most of us that have experienced this have our ports in this same location. My surgeon gave me a choice and because of my bra he suggested this area instead of the sternum. But now that my port has flipped he wants to move it to my sternum area. I am still trying to decide what to do, cause I don't want yet another wound to have to deal with healing. If we just repair my port where it is theres a chance it will flip again. Anyway alot of people like the sternum port location it's easier for some to locate for fills and they don't move! Oh yeah and there is a lady on spotlight (can't think of her name right now) that has her port located in her left upper breast/chest area where they place pace makers. She loves it there. WOW so many people!

Hey thanks everyone for all your replies! Lisa-Thanks, I hope to get it fixed in the next couple of months! Wednesday- I'm so happy you to see you over here! Have not seen much of you at Spotlight these days, you must be out enjoying that Florida sunshine!!! Leo- Yes, they have to make another incinsion to turn it around. I swear though last night I could feel the front part of the port. So I may go back in and try the fill again. My doc said it swims around like a fish, so it is possible that it's flipped over again on it's own. That would be great!! Have a nice day! Tina
  17. Hello, My name is Tina, I am 31 yrs old. I work full time as an Office Manager on top of being a full time wife & mother of a 3 yr old little girl. I was banded March 26, 2002 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I have had two fills and am in desperate need of a third but my port has flipped and I need to have it replaced. So my weight loss has been stalled way too long. At one point I actually lost over 50 lbs, then I have gain about 5 of that back. Which is not bad, considering I was eating basically anything I wanted. Without the band I would have gained it all back and them some!!! I love my band! :banana I am a faithful lurker & occasional poster from Spotlight and I'm happy to see so many from the family! Take care, Tina Banded 03/26/02 260/21?/180 Taking a break from the scale, it only upsets me
