I'm just someone who has been struggling with their weight for years and finally said, "enough is enough", I'm going to get help!   So, I did a lot of research an came across lap band surgery.... What also helped was I had an old friend who got surgery and decided after talking to him, this was what I wanted...  And nothing or nobody was going to stop me!  Went through the process.. Seminar, 6 months, letters from doctor, talking to Rep. at insurance copy, etc.  I got approve on first note.  My BMI was 36 and I had high cholesterol...
