I have had a weight problem for seven years, since the death of my brother.  I have also struggled with weight for several years of my adult life.  Gaining and losing, gaining and losing, but this time I didn't have the mental strength to fight the battle.  I researched LapBand for a year before I decided to have my surgery.  It has been almost four months now and I have lost 20 pounds which is almost one and one half pounds a week.  I am pleased with that.  I would do it again.
