I can totally sympathize with you, I have teetered between 205 and 211 for over 3 months. My NUT asked if I was afraid to be under 200 pounds, and I think she might be right. My daughter and I have both quit losing and she has gained about 15 pounds. I don't know if I am waiting for her or what?? I have decided I AM going to be at 160 by the time I turn 60 in August. I AM going to eat only healthy, unprocessed food 98% of the time. And when I am unhappy about something I WILL walk, instead of eating!(This might be hard, they are predicting 11 inches of rain in the next week!) We have come to far and worked TOO hard for this to stop now! Good Luck and hopefully we will see onderland before the new year!
  3. My 3 year old granddaughter went with her mom and I then we got a fill, due to the babysitter canceling at the last minute. We told her the Dr. was making us better, and when he was finished she pulled up her shirt and told him she was "hungry". At the shoe store she ripped off her shoes and told me she was "weighing her feet" on the children's shoe size display!! LOL
  4. My daughter and I go to water aerobics 5 mornings and 3 nights a week, and we love it! It doesn't seem like exercise! I hate to go to a gym, and I always find an excuse to not walk, but I am up and ready for water aerobics. Unfortunately, in our area the pool is only open for the summer and today is the last day! Exercise in the water is so much easier. I can do things I wouldn't be able to do out of the water, and no one can see my saggy belly flapping under water. Try it, I hope you like it as much as we do!
  5. I get leg cramps at night unless I take a magnesium tablet every day. When I run out and forget to get them, I get cramps again. They also help with constipation issues.
  6. My 1 year bandiverary was in May. I have lost 82 pounds on this wonderful journey. I still have 50 + pounds to go, but I feel so much better. My daughter and I are doing this together and it is the best idea we ever had!
  7. I have always had a problem with eating at night. I can't sleep so I think if I eat I will be able to. I love the idea of the list of ten things that don't include food! I will try that and if that doesn't work I will eat a can of green beans!
  8. I have had allergies and sinus issues for years with post nasal drip and a terrible cough. Since my surgery in May I have not had one problem. I have no idea why but if this is a side effect of lapband I will take it.
  9. How did you stop "the bingeing late into the night"? That is really my problem! I eat well during the day and then double my calories after 8 p.m.
  10. When I am suddenly hungry and can eat more it is usually because I have been eating more carbs (usually not the good ones). Tuesday I was shopping all day and ate hash browns and pizza and by the time I got home I was starving (probably not enough protein). I ate 2 bowls of protein cereal, a protein shake, and some cold chicken and I was still starving. Normally the chicken would be all i could eat!

My nutritionist recommended adding 80 to 100 grams of protein from shakes in ADDITION to the food I was eating(800-1000 calories) each day. It really jump started my weight loss.
