  1. Went in Thursday hoping to get a fill. But upon doing the X-ray drinking that stuff. My Dr. Says he's worried about my band there could be some slippage. So, he had to remove 2cc's. So, he had grilled me before about eating right, but didn't say much after this discovery, just to come back in two weeks. I've researched & read about it. I didn't have any of the symptoms for slippage. So I'm praying it will resolve itself. He made the comment about dilation. Hoping it was just irritated. I'm going to do mostly liquid and soft foods. So any feed back would be helpful.

  4. I've thought about a stationary. I did go to therapy for a while they put me on one for ten minutes. Just need to see if I can try one before I buy one. Then possibly graduate to an actual bike. I did that a little in college. I'd forgot about that. I suppose not everyone is made to run? Thanks for the suggestion.
  5. Lost 80 pounds first 7 months. Knee went out doctor says I need a partial knee replacement. I'm in pain with every step. I need to exercise, but not sure what I can do now. I feel great, motivated, just in pain. Hoping getting more weight off (still need to loose 100) will ease my knee pain. I'm not ready for a knee replacement. Arthritis picked a lovely time to show up. Just looking for suggestions.
  6. Hello, I'm new to this board trying to figure out how it all works. Had surgery June 1, 2010. I've lost 80 pounds as of January 2011. Felt great still do, but not satisfied. At the same time I lost the weight,my knee started bothering me. When I needed to start working out, I couldn't. Went to orthopedists April 2011. Says I need a partial knee replacement. Lovely time for arthritis to show up. I have energy motivation, but too much pain. I'm hoping if I just cut back again losing more weight will ease the pain in my knee. I'm not ready for knee surgery. Just looking for suggestions and ideas of things I could try. I wouldn't trade having my band, just wish my 44 year old knee didn't hurt.
