Oh I love them. I got a DVD to open a franchise because there are no BL near by and even curves is too far away. But I don't have the money or the time to do it right now. I still plan to do it some day. It look wonderful on the dvd.

hello I am from Gainesville, GA I have not had the surgery yet. I was having trouble finding a way to pay. I have found a way. I still have to hear from the bank to make sure all is well and schedule the surgery.

My doctor said the same 2 yrs. I would not want to wait that long

Capital one health offered me a 16% interest. I cannot do that. The low interest rate is if you can pay it in less than 2 yrs.

92 lbs in a year is also awsome! Go girl! If I can ever find a loan with a low interest rate(very sad about it). I hope to share in such amazing results.

Mexico is too complicated for me I already looked into it. My daughters won't stay with anybody which means I have to bring them with me along with my parents to watch them and that is plane tickets and hotel and food and hours on a plane. I want to have surgery and go to my bed and rest and I rather have a local doctor that I can go to and knows me. My doctor is a very reputable doctor, I cannot tell you how many lap bands he has done but he was an apprentice to one of the first gastric bypass doctors back in the 70's and they put their patients through the ringer with classes and nutritionists, support groups and writing a letter of understanding etc.... before he does the surgery.

:think :think :think :think :think I am looking for a loan and because I am a stay at home mom and don't make a lot of money I am not fiding any loans that I can afford. My plan was to get a personal loan and add to it my school loan and credit card along with the surgery and have one payment. My husband filed for bankrupt a couple of years before we met and still recovering. I feel like someone has given me a sentence to be overweight forever. I feel like my dreams of loosing the weight have been taken from me. I cannot stop crying, my eyes are blood red and swollen. My husband says to have faith that something is bound to happen. The quantity of money I need is not going to drop from the sky. This sucks! I should have looked into the money before going forward with the surgery process. I have made plans accordingly, I have tasted Proteins, I even subscribed to WLS magazine. :think :think :think

Thank you all. My credit is good but I stay at home and that is not considered a job. the interest with capitalone medical loans is 16.99 way to high. Bank of America only approved me for 10,000.00. Capital one's personal loans are better but by invitation only, I mailed them a letter asking them to invite me. I am hoping to consolidate my student loan and credit card alongwith the surgery ( 14,500.00 for the surgery) I need 23,000.00 to cover all three. or just find a super low interest medical loan. I will keep you all updated. Again, thank you for all your help.

It is amazing the amount of weight you have lost in a year. I told the psychologist that my goal for the first year is to loose 72 lbs and he thought it is unrealistic if he hears about you he'll fall flat on his tushie. How have you lost all that weight in a year?

On Oprah: Carnie Wilson talked about her alchoholism and she has been sober for 2 yrs, another lady is also drinking a lot and does not think she has a problem and her family is suffering a lot and I could not finish watching the lady that became addicted to sex.

Oprahs show is about weight loss surgery and what happens emotionally after.

I wonder what he will do once you start loosing the weight and looking good. My ex husband would harrass me about my weight every day and to this day when I loose a significant amount of weight he inflates his cheeks and put his arms out and waddles to make fun of me and once I gained the weight back he would stop. Your husband sounds like that kind of person, like you are eating sensibly and he will bring a piece of cake and eat it in front of you. Do you have a supportive group of people/ family around you? How long before you can have the surgery. It may not even be worth waiting for surgery day, get financing leave his arse behind. People like that are not worth the time of day. This is just the beginning for him.

Puddin You are a strong woman, you do not need a man in a hurry so this guy can see you with one. Ignore him pretend he is not there. Stand on you own 2 feet and be proud that you do not need a man in your life to feel whole. Specially be proud that you have won the weight battle and now you are doing a triathalon(sp). Bask in the glory of that and do not let a stupid man ruin your achievement. DO NOT give him your power. Lossing the amount of weight you have lost in the matter that you have lost it makes you a super woman and you deserve a super man and a super man you are not going to find in any ol' corner the universe is waiting for the right time in both your lives (he could be going thru some rough times and once he is out of that and he can be the best for you he will appear) to unite you two. You may be ready but he may not be. Thank God these guys leave your life before you marry them and then realize the kind of jerks they are. I asked my husband once where were you before I married my ex husband and he said you would have not liked me then. When we were both ready we found eachother and we are very happy. I married my first husband 11 yrs ago at that time my husband was married to his first wife and he was not financially stable, then he married again and started to get his life in order divorce and 1 yr after he divorced we met. I still say go out have fun don't expect anything go with the flow. You are a Goddess enjoy it, love it, live it.

How about loving yourself, send your self flowers and write on the card something sweet or join a flower of the month club where you will forget about it and puff there it is with a sweet note to yourself, take yourself to a nice dinner, be ok with being by yourself and don't look for a husband look for a friend, someone that you can be your self, someone you can totally relax with. Are you putting too much of a I am looking for a husband vibe. Men shy away from a "hello my name is ______ and I am looking for a husband" thing. Are you too clingy, jelous, picky. Try dating a not so handsome guy and see what happens.

I was told at my educational class that they don't recommend baby food because it is high in carbs and they want us to stay away from carbs.
