I would look into going to support meetings with people who have had some kind of bariatric surgery

One thing my psych suggested is to keep an index card or photos of what my ultimate reason for the weight loss goal is in my purse or on me at all times so that if I think of food I'll remember that whatever it is I want right now is not as important as the long term goal which is to live for my kids and grandkids.

I've heard from a friend at work that some of the girls were saying I was too skinny (behind) my back, but I took it as a compliment. After spending all the money and all the hard work I've put in to lost wt. I was thrilled to be called skinny. It hurt my feelings at first but I know I look okay. My weight is a normal weight for someone of my height. I think they're probably just jealous or something. My husband went through a spell of having dreams that I found someone else and left him. He is thrilled for me though, but still has some minor insecurity issues when it com es to dealing with my wt. loss...I haven't lost any friends or anything...People are also starting to stop saying how much more are you going to lose, or how much have you lost? I get alot of questions about whatand how much I can eat. I have noticed when I eat with others it sometimes makes them "feel like hogs" they say. I try to eat slow and not make a big deal about it. When my hubby and I went out to eat I was done before he got his salt/pepper etc, on his food! So I try to eat really slow around others.. It's kinda uncomfortable for both of us...

I didn't tell. None of their business. If they get too nosey, just tell them you are completing the final stage of your gender re-assignment process.
"Would you like to see pictures?"
That should shut them up (or give them something really juicy to discuss!)
