  1. Thanks everyone I will keep posting. Springlife I love the idea of being sleeve buddies keep me psoted. I had my pre-op yesterday, I also completed my Blood work, Chest X-ray, and EKG. I am all set. Now it is the waiting game. The next 11 days will take forever.

  3. I will be sleveed on May 19th so I am just a head of you. I am on day 4 of my pre-op liquid diet and today is ruff for me. But I wanted to welcome you and wish you luck.
  4. Good luck sounds like you have got everything falling into place. I purchased my chewable calcium citrate from GNC website and saw some on Amazon's website.

  10. Congrats on setting your date. Tommorrow I am having blood work, Urinalysis, chest X-ray, EKG done and then I need to get a medical clearance from my PCP. I have surgey on 5/19.
  11. I also live in Chicago and I have a BCBS HMO I was approved for the sleeve. It is my understanding that BCBS PPO will not pay for the sleeve. Do you have a PPO?

  14. I stopped drinking pop about a month ago and the last 2 week stopped putting sugar in my coffee.
  15. I did I hit all my favorite places to eat and had lots of junk food. Today I started my 2 week liquids and hoping May 19th come really fast.

  19. I got approved by my insurance today. Started my liquid diet and my surgery will be on May 19th. OMG what a day. I feel like I am dreaming. How hard sill the next two weeks of nothing but liquids be? I am just about to blow up I have so many emotions run inside of me right now. Wow two more weeks and I will be sleeved. My new life will start.

  21. I also worried about telling my Mom and when I did she was like what does you PCP say and if he thinks it a good idea then so do I. I almost fell out. Good luck telling her.
