  2. Good luck you can do it. I had to do 2 week of just clear liquids only.
  3. This is the best place to come to for support. Everyone is was very helpful when ever I need advice. Good luck!
  4. I took 10 days off but could have gone back to work on day 6. I had surgery on a wed, thurs and fri were I was still in pain. Sat and Sun I was more my self and could have if I had to went to work on Mon. I have a desk job. Hope all goes well with your surgery.
  5. I had to do a 2 week clear liquid diet and by day 7 I was nuts. But I kept saying I can do this and then I would drink some water or diet snapple. I am here if you need to vent. Stay strong.
  6. Thanks Linda. FatherJonz-Kim said I should continue to drink liquids from the clear liquid list and I can add creamed Soups, carnation instant Breakfast, slim fast,1% milk, v8,liquids you can not see through. Next wednesday I move to Puree which is stuff like egg white or beaters, cottage cheese yogurt greek,sugar free pudding, reffried Beans, mashed banana, oatmeal, mashed potatos, applesauce stuff like that. then the next week soft foods like fish, tuna, moist meats, and then what ever I can handle. Kalew-I felt better after I eat something more than Water.
  7. I got my staples out today I am so glad to have them out. Was told I should now move to a full liquid diet for a week. I can start to workout. They said everything looks just fine. I am so happy.:thumbup1:

  10. That is great! I am glad you are doing so well. I have had almost the recovery as you. I go to the dr on thursday to get my staples removed and then I will move to full liquids.
  11. I started to cut back on the amount of food I would eat at each meal, stopped drinking pop, cut out the sugar and last cut out coffee. Little change at a time so you don't have to do everything at one time.

  17. I checked my weight day of surgery and now 5 days later it is 20 lbs less or is something wrong with my scale?

  20. It will get better everyday. I am on day 4 and this is the best I have felt so far. The frist day home I wanted to go back. I could not drink the narcotics they sent me home with it made me sick so I have been taking liquid Tyleno and it has worked. I hope you feel better soon.
  21. I gots some gatorade today. Hope to drink some of that with water.
