Does anyone find that the first meal of the day is the most "painful" I'm sitting here eating a scrambled egg, and it hurts going down. As the day goes on i feel like I'm able to tolerate more.

What is a good wholesome snack. On the 24th i will be two months out. In getting a little tired of cheese sticks.. yogurt.

Nope i never started them but know once i return to work a stove will not be available

I went for my 30 day post op check up and weighed 20 less from my pre surgery weight. Maybe its me but my Dr didn't seem to be amused. I told him i still feel week and get dizzy spells. He responded it may be psychological or reality, but don't feed into it.. Huh??? Did he just call me nuts??? He said if i feed into it i will start putting food in my mouth to pacify the issue. Hum... He said don't eat if I'm not hungry and eat only enough to kill the hunger pangs. That the first six months is the make it or break it stage. He is totally against protein drinks and says push the water, and protein, ie. Eggs, meat, cheese etc. and i can now start with a good multi vitamin. I feel like he's saying fly little birdy.. Fly..!!! Has anyone else experienced this??+

My Dr said said it is normal not to go for days. When i first had my surgery, i didn't go for exactly two weeks two the day. If we are not really eating then nothing is going to come out.

I'm four weeks out, what is your weight loss. My diet seems too be the same as yours except my Dr forbids me to have Protein Drinks . I'm getting a little tired of the same ol. With the cold weather i am adding a cup of cream of wheat Cereal for dinner.

I was told i should not drink it.. I had a small sip and felt like i was going to explode.. I kinda panicked and kept patting my chest like a baby to burp it up

I had my sleeve surgery on Oct 24, last Friday i weighed in and was told i lost 20 lbs. I spoke too the nurse this morning and she said i should have lost more than that. I thought i did great, but now wonder what are others losing in their 30 day post OP check up.

I feel like i eat like a bird. I barely finish an egg. I was told to eat to kill the hunger pangs, and not to eat to get full. One egg fills me, so i guess my Dr wants me to eat 1/4 an egg?? He is dead set against protein shakes and says i am to eat my protein, not drink them. He said i can drink crystal light or vitamin water light. I think its mental, but i hate diet drinks. So I'm drinking the regular vitamin water (seems to go down smooth and i just take small slow sips) and try to push plain water also, but that still hurts going down. I don't finish a whole bottle of vitamin water, so i don't consume the full calories in a bottle. I was told to take a regular multi vitamin. And b complex shots are available in the office if i feel i need them. Two days after surgery i was admitted into icu for extreme dehydration. My Dr was against entering me since he said i just need to push the fluids. I couldn't drink a drop and had horrible nausea. I honestly thought i was going to die.
