  1. Happy 38th Birthday Ro-Jae327!

  2. I actually starting with 1cc in my band right out of surgery. Now a little over a year later I'm at 6.9cc in my band. Mine holds 10cc.
  3. Yes, it is frustrating. I sometimes think I need a fill and then I start losing again. I lose in spurts as well. The last fill I got was in November 2011 and I have lost about 25lbs since then. So it is slow but steady. The most important thing to remember is to eat at least 1200 calories and exercise. It will come off. At least I'm not gaining.... That's how I see it. Good luck everyone

Can I Eat Before A Fill....?

I was told to actually not eat anything the day of a fill. Only liquids...but each doc is different I guess...

    Feeling A Little Discouraged

Yes, eat, eat, eat! Trust me I was there too. It's hard because you can't really eat that much because you get full faster and you won't lose unless you eat more. I was discouraged as well. I got over it though. I just take it day by day. The key for me is to eat 1200 calories a day. I normally eat a light breakfast (boiled egg and fruit) and lunch (some sort of protein) and then I really don't eat dinner. Maybe something very light. That works for me. I drink water all day long. That helps so much as well. My surgery was 6/11 and I have had 4 fills. My last one was in 11/11. I'm doing fine but should get another one soon. Good luck and try not to get discouraged!! Remember, slow and stady journey..

How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?

I used to weight myself daily, but when the scale was not moving quick enough for me I started weighing twice a week. You begin to get obsessed with the scale. It's pretty bad. This way is working better for me. I can focus more on doing what I need to do. Godd luck all
  8. Happy 37th Birthday Ro-Jae327!

  9. Thanks for all of your help guys!
  10. Oh that sounds great! Where can I get Biotin?
  11. Thanks guys! I don't think this one comes in liquid form. But I will have to see what I will do.
  12. I have a 10cc band, filled to 6.4cc and I was wondering if taking pills would be a problem. I want to take this vitamin for my hair and its a capsule pill. May be a silly question, but I dont want it to get stuck. Thanks for any help!
  13. Honestly, I think you should do what you want to do. You're an adult. You know what's best for you. Just be careful and all in moderation. I personally would not do it. But you know you. Good luck on your journey!!
  14. Yes I would agree to eat at least 1200 cal a day and plenty of water!! I try to limit my bread intake to about once a week, but sometimes I wouldn't have it for a month. It's all in moderation though. Good luck!
