  1. I was having terrible menstrual bleeding that wouldn't stop and I had clots. My PCP sent me to a gynecologist and the the nurse practioner said she couldn't even find my ovaries because I was too fat. Sure enough, I had to get a hysterectomy later. I feel the hysterectomy could have been prevented if I had received proper care earlier. :-(
  2. Gaylene - thanks! :-) I really thought therapy would do the trick. So disappointed with the surgery, lack of care (long store) and now the therapy. I feel so hopeless :-(
  3. Thank you gowalking :-)
  4. This is me. I can't eat healthy foods, but slider foods stay down just fine. Very irritating and people don't believe me. That is why I am gaining weight again.
  5. Same thing for me, except for the PTSD. Hope someone call help us. In my case I can't have any other issues because of the medications I am on for bi-polar. I know some people disagree with this, but my psychiatrist says no.
  6. Your posts are definetly relevant to me. For years I have struggled with the fact that I really can't eat dense program only sliders. Naturally no one believed me and I was going through a hard time with this fact emotionally. Then, Viola!, I find that you had the same issue and getting the sleeve resolved that issue. In fact, I wanted to know more about your experience, but didn't want to bother you to death with questions. So, yes, please keep posting. Our issues are different than newbies, but they are still issues and they still matter.
  7. Cowgirl Jane, Can you tell me how you overcame your dense Protein problem? I thought I was the only one that had something like that going on? Terry
  8. The lap band wasn't successful for me. I lost 80 lbs, but am gaining it all back. I am in therapy to find out what my issues with my weight are. I didn't think I could eat so much with the lap band. Odd, but true, I can't eat healthy foods - throw them all up. I get hungry and only the junk like ice cream go down and stay down. I think you might want to postpone the surgery. You can always get it later.
  9. Puppypaws57 replied to NULL's topic in Singles Forum
I think NULL is a fake poster. Notice his height is 3 and all his other info is 666. Didn't read the other posts, so if I missed something, I apologize.

  15. Folly - You Rock! I have gained 30 lbs back from the 70 I lost and am seeking counseling. Sure hope it helps. It is my last resort.
  16. Drinking the Grape Frost right now. Only flavor I drink.
  17. My Bariatric Life - thank you for checking in on me. I am in therapy and hoping it will help. I have regained about 30 of the 70 lbs I lost on the lap band so I knew I had bigger issues than just the fat. You are very kind and I hope to be as compassionate as you are someday. Terry
  18. This is the oddest post I have ever seen. Got to page 5 and just gave up trying to understand this.
  19. Could you explain where you got your facts that Sciatica has emotional roots.s Thanks!
  20. I truly understand. It might not help, but I understand. (((HUGS)))
