  1. Don't gain weight from candy - I want YOUR surgery - lol!
  2. Great advice, but I eat such a small amount of food there is no way I can make it last 20 minutes.

    Hi - I have a lot of problems with emotional eating. How can my dr. or dietician help? I just thought they would get mad at me.
  4. You must be pretty computer savy. I have had this issue for some time and never did figure it out. Thanks to you, I'm back on!!!!
  5. I agree. This forum is for everyone. I don't read every post and by now most members realize that you post topics praising God. Let everyone decide what they want to read.
  6. Same here. My band was unbuckled so it was like I didn't have a band. Please have your dr. do an upper GI to check. I had my band replaced and wow, what a difference. Also, it is hard to change a lifetime of thoughts and practices. I have trouble eating correctly too. I know I need therapy to help with my issues but cannot afford it. Don't beat yourself up or let others put you down. I have been there and it hurts like hell. Get it checked out! {{{{HUGS}}}}
  7. My page is all messed up like that too. Is yours fixed?
  8. Any size 20 left? - I'm in Calif.
  9. I had a barium swallow post op. I thought it was because my first band was defective and they were just checking to make sure things were ok.
  10. My Dr. put saline in my band during surgery. Don't know how much. Didn't have bandster hell. In fact, when I went to my Dr. just to meet him they filled me, but had to take it all out. I'm doing good!
  11. Oh my goodness! Watched all 4 in one sitting. I have done so much wrong. I was one of those people that went to a center of excellence but received virtually no info. Thank you so much for recommending these videos.
  12. I have the same issue. I have diarrea every morning. Not a good thing.
  13. It could also be the grease. I thought since I can't eat the crust, I would just eat the toppings, but that made me sick too!
  14. See, everyone is different. I can't eat it. Hopeit works for you!
  15. It took very little time to get approval too.
  16. I also have tricare and approval was super easy too.
  17. I just tried cherries, but didn't work for me.
  18. OK. I had two surgeries. One didn't work out. The last one was Dec. 13, 2011. I started at 252 and was 201 today. Slow loss, but I'm older, don't always make the best choices (lots of emotional/hunger issues I haven't addressed) and have trouble exercising. So all in all I'm happy with my loss. Very happy with the band. If I did my part it would work like a charm!
  19. Yes, sleep apnea was a co morbidity for me, plus my size. 252 - 5'2". Tricare is usually very easy to get approval from. It was so easy that I had my surgery right away and didn't have to go through the classes, which in retrospect, was not the best thing for me.
  20. do you have sleep apnea? That did it for me.
  21. Yes. The Dr. works for YOU! You hired him to do your surgery, etc., etc. I KNOW how frustrating this is for you. If you aren't losing then you definetly need a fill. I wouild ask the surgeon to check everything out and also tell him how the NP is acting. There is a reason for all this and the Dr., his office and you should all be working together to find out what is wrong. Good luck and keep me posted. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
  22. Wow Lolita - that is my story. In fact it was kinda hard to read because it hit so close to home. Except, I was the ONLY fat one.
  23. I notice salt in everything. Wayyyy to salty. I bought a 4 pack of individual Knudsen cottage cheese and could barely eat it because I found it so salty. 410 mgs for 4 oz! Maybe I'm just sensitive to it.
  24. I'm not sure I understand. Did you get the band? If you were at goal pre-op, why would you need the band?
