  1. I was having terrible menstrual bleeding that wouldn't stop and I had clots. My PCP sent me to a gynecologist and the the nurse practioner said she couldn't even find my ovaries because I was too fat.

Sure enough, I had to get a hysterectomy later. I feel the hysterectomy could have been prevented if I had received proper care earlier. :-(

  2. Your posts are definetly relevant to me. For years I have struggled with the fact that I really can't eat dense program only sliders. Naturally no one believed me and I was going through a hard time with this fact emotionally.

Then, Viola!, I find that you had the same issue and getting the sleeve resolved that issue.

In fact, I wanted to know more about your experience, but didn't want to bother you to death with questions.

So, yes, please keep posting. Our issues are different than newbies, but they are still issues and they still matter.

  3. The lap band wasn't successful for me. I lost 80 lbs, but am gaining it all back. I am in therapy to find out what my issues with my weight are.

I didn't think I could eat so much with the lap band. Odd, but true, I can't eat healthy foods - throw them all up. I get hungry and only the junk like ice cream go down and stay down.

I think you might want to postpone the surgery. You can always get it later.
