I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm on mushy foods for 2 more weeks. I have the band with the plication so I really don't ever feel hungry yet. However, I'm just getting really bored with my food selections.

Yes!!! I just posted something about it. It is making me crazy! I'm only 2 weeks post op but not sure I should be feeling like this. I know for sure it is not gas pains but rather it feels like something is pulling on my muscles. Sometimes it is a brief stabbing sensation. It doesn't always happen though. I can't figure out what is triggering it.

It is a huge decision to make! You need to be 100% sure that this is what you want or you will not be successful (like your friend). Ask questions, read, and pray about it! It took me about a year to finally make the decision to do it..I'm scheduled for the 24th!
