* Big Hugs* My Mom stopped calling me a week before surgery - She was scared. It was the fear that I wouldn't make it. As stated above she will come around when she see's the positive changes!!! I would how ever tell her she needs to apologize!! We are all here for you!!! Its a step in the right direction!!!!!!

I had to get silicone too.... the piercist should be able to make you up something with a flex plastic wire type thing - It actually looks like the stuff I buy for the whipper snipper

I did drink the regular ones but hate that there is more carb than protein...

I like Tuna and cream of mushroom soup with peas.. Is like Tuna noodle casserole with out the noodle.. and Tuna is a great protein source

Thank you for this post!!! I am on liquids for 6 weeks - post op. I have eaten Tuna... a few crackers and chili. I was reading posts and thinking wow... why doI have to wait so long when others are on solids already!!! I was sleeved Aug 30....

My Dr requires 6 weeks of full liquids after Surgery... sick of soup - 2 weeks to go! I dont understand all the different requirements either,,,,,

Sleeved Aug 30th! Down 20 lbs since surgery - 52 pre op so 70 in total! On liquids until Oct 6th... I did eat Tuna today, chewed really well....ah funny - Tuna is now `cheating`. Love my sleeve, no real pain to speak of since the first 2 days of surgery! Walking alot, sipping alot.

Hang in there!!! Once the sleeve is done it will be worth all the struggle! I cant wait for mine!!!

Hello everyone! Thank you for sharing the good, the bad and the interesting! My surgery is scheduled for the end of July. This site has helped alleviate so of the fears! I have lost 50 with Weight Watchers, and now am ready to move on and get rid of the next 110!
