I had the Gastric Band placed on 5-23-2011. My weight before starting my 2 week Pre-Op diet was 415. On May 1st 2012 I weighed 287. I had lost 128 pounds. Unfortunately my band slipped and had to be removed on May 1st 2012. I've been struggling over the last few months and gained about 25 pounds. I've been maintaining at about 100 pounds lost, but I have a long way to go. I met with my surgeon and decided to get the sleeve. I am looking forward to continuing my journey. My goal weight is 200 pounds.
