Welcome to my page. Anyways, my name is Shavona. Currently I live in Aurora, Colorado. Orginally from Nebraska. The lapband procedure has been on my mind for 2 year and finally it is within grasp. May 27th will be my surgery date. I am super excited.

I am a stay at home mom and wife, thanks to my husband. I have a 4 year old daughter that defiently keeps me on my toes. She is the reason I am doing this. Well not just for her but for my self. I think the worst thing you can hear from your child is mommy you are fat, you have a big belly. It doesn't settle well. I want to be here for the long haul and needed to get my life in order so I can be around for her and when she gets older. After the surgery I know it will be great and I will be able to keep up with her after I get some of the weight off.

This is not the easiest thing to do, writing about myself. For everyone that knows me, knows that I am one of the most caring people in the world, very honest and sometimes a little to straight forward. I will speak my mind, if I have too. I love to read, and go on walks, along with being outdoors. Being here in Colorado there are a lot of things to do outside. At times you almost feel like an oursider with all these skinny people here. I will say Colorado is a very active state. I hope to join them soon!!!
