  1. Hi Everyone! I am new here and very inspired by all your posts! However, I am very scared as I am sure most of you were. I am especially afraid I am going to be able to feel the band at any given time after surgery. I understand I will feel it when food goes down but if I am just sitting and watching tv, working or driving, I don't want to be aware of it. Can any post op patients fill me in about this? I asked during my pre op session at the surgeon and the nurse and doctor differed in what they said. Thanks so much!
