  1. G'Day All

Well where do I start last week was a bad week I had done everything I thought for the sleeve conversion from my lap-band only to find out on Wednesday that I needed 6 mths of Dr supervised diet and exercise, well as I have been having refux issues since september 2010 with my new band and sometimes getting it into my lungs at night and it also looking like coffee groundsI called my New Dr yesterday and he had me come in today for an unfill after 30 minutes in his office trying to access the port, he booked me into pacific Medical to get done under flouroscopy , both he and the radiologist on duty there tried for another 30 minutes and decided my port had flipped and gave up trying, then had me drink the barrium stuff to see how bad the band is, well my assophagus and the pouch for my band are both enlarged and no fluid passed through the band for several minutes, so he has decided to get the case to the insurance now as an urgent band removal and do a sleeve revision at the same time, hoping that with all the problems I am having with reflux, pain, and the flipped port that I will be approved very quickly.

    Regards Malcolm
