  1. My name is Kim I am a School Nurse and a mother of four that range from ages 25-7. I was banded 6/14/10 at Baptist Hospital, in Pensacola FL by Dr. Jeffery Friedman. He gave me my life back. I started at 265 and a size 20 and am now 196 and a size 12/14. Before surgery I had high blood pressure, and was a type II Diabetic. Now I have TONS of energy and NO MORE high blood pressure or diabetes!! I wish I had done this years ago. I talk to everyone about this surgery. A few I know have had the surgery and they are like me! WHY DID WE WAIT SOOOO LONG!
  2. Carla did you looooose fast at the start and then sloooow down or what? I was banded 6/14/10 and have gone from 265 to 196 today. This last fill has not been very good, I can only get a few liquids in and solid food is a bear. I might take in 400 cals a day so I think maybe my body is MAD. I go next week to the Dr. I was suppose to have a fill but he may need to take some out? What do you think?
