  1. YES!! Have tons for you. PM me your address and I'll send them asap.
  2. That's great news!! Congrats. I have a bunch of pairs of 16s that are too big if you want them...just PM me.
  3. Want to giveaway my pants to anyone who needs them - who better to give them to then one of my sleeve buddies? Pants are mostly black - capris, full length - but I am short so they are on the short side. Sizes 14w, 16, 16p, maybe one 16w or regular 14. PM me your address!
  4. I tried to use it b/c I read posts on other sites (like Walgreens) that it was tasteless. It is NOT. The other funny thing to me is that it has (I think) 7g Protein per serving and others have 22g. So I thought it wasn't worth it - but then I realized it's all about the SCOOP size inside the container!! The beneprotein scoop is tiny and the others are gigantic. I hate the taste of all whey, but I did use my beneprotein mixed in slowly with hot chocolate, and I couldn't taste it.
  5. Wannalise - I think that those "3 year old" moments are just the withdrawal talking. About 10-12 years ago, I used to drink about 6 per day. I was broke one month and cut them out. After the headaches and bitchiness subsided, I realized that my time of month was about 1000 times better! So, I cut back to only one per day, in the morning. This also helped out my insomnia quite a bit. Then, more recently, I stopped them b/c I was pregnant (or trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding, etc). Then when all of that was over, before my VSG I started up again, only to realize that diet coke kinda tastes like poison to me now! You can do this. Every day will get a bit easier! At my work, we have this raspberry flavored seltzer Water - maybe something like that, something fizzy, would help fill the void a bit?
  6. I had my armpits and legs waxed before my wedding. I was shaking in fear over the armpit wax and it didn't hurt much at all! Then, I was SHOCKED when they got to my legs and that hurt so bad I had tears running down my cheeks. It was the area in the front of your leg - your shin, that hurt SO BAD. After that, I never had the courage to do a bikini line. I always wanted to get my armpits done again but haven't b/c I hated the fact that I had to grow them out a bit before the waxing. I think that is so gross! BUT it was great afterward, I had no hair there for about a month. I just started using that new Dove deodorant that says you will shave less after a few months of use. I hope it works.

I am just HOPING to look as good as you one day. You have beautiful skin.
  8. You lost a WHOLE PERSON! That is so insane. Congrats, you look amazing.
  9. Way cool. :crying: I always review menus online in advance to have a game plan! And you are right, I always think about how slow I am eating only in a restaurant.
  10. I had surgery in late November. I can eat: -almost an entire lean cuisine -an entire chicken breast over an hour -a whole luna bar/protein bar on my way to work (15-20 minutes) -1 scrambled egg OR -sometimes just a bite here or there My point being that I can eat a lot (relatively speaking) or just a bite or two depending on my tummy that day. Every month, however, I have seen improvement upon what I can eat...I assume due to swelling going down. Last night we had friends over and they brought pita chips and dip and I was able to graze on that while we played Wii. Then my husband made mini pizzas and I had two of those over the course of 45 minutes. I really am able to eat whatever I want just really small quantities, compared to what I ate before. However, I feel like the amount I eat now is what "normal" people eat! And I actually feel more "free" b/c I am not restricting myself to certain foods only. I will admit to you that sometimes (really just sometimes) I miss miss miss being able to just PIG out. But I have realized that doing that was just my unhealthy way of dealing with stress, and it never really made me feel much better. In fact, after wards, I always felt worse.
  11. I use milk, hot cocoa mix and the PB2 and it tastes SO great. Just like a butterfinger.

This snow is crazy! I was able to shovel a ton as well, way more than before. We stayed in and played a new Wii game and got lots of exercise. Also - party was, of course, canceled! All that dress shopping for nothing.
  13. I drank chocolate Protein monster from Odwalla. It's a milk drink. I couldn't stomach that whey powder either! There's also a fruit one from Naked that some people like.
  14. Wow! Great progress.:confused1:
  15. So Sorry you have to go through this! I will be thinking of you all week!
  16. Congratulations! I am super happy for you!

Ok - So I got a black dress...BUT it's a style I can't believe I am wearing. It's straight! It doesn't have a big puffy skirt to hide my hips. I'm kind of scared but really like the dress. Thanks Tiffy. I have noticed that style is so popular right now. I like it but I'd have to try it on. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that last dress. Thanks! Update - we have a friend going with us to keep our son for the night of the party. We got her a room and us a room! yay - night out!

I know, me too. I can't believe this snuck up on me. we're going to Baltimore this weekend and I'm going to hit the Filene's basement there. Nordstrom Rack is a great idea. Thanks.

My husband's work is having a formal party. Unfortunately, he thought it was in March, and come to find out it is next week! I am less frustrated than I would normally be dress shopping, however, I am still frustrated. Why is EVERYTHING made with spandex? Ugh. Thanks to the 35 less pounds on my frame (!) I can wear something nicer than I normally would, but I don't want something that clings to me either. I looked online today and spotted this: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3054680/0~2376776~2374327~2374331~6014185?mediumthumbnail=Y&origin=category&searchtype=&pbo=6014185&P=3 And while I like the style of it...it is probably the same color as me. I am very "pink" person -- I once got a manicure with some color called cotton candy and it matched me perfectly. So....I'm afraid I'd blend in with this dress. I need some color. The only other dress I saw online was black, and well, I've been wearing black so long I want to be free from it! I am also still very wary of strapless. My upper arms aren't great. Dunno why I am posting this but feel free to forward a link if you see a pretty dress online. Although now I am sure it is too late to order! Let's see what else is new...35 pounds gone...all pre-pregnancy clothes fit and some are loose! I'm eating pretty well - getting all my protein from food. I'm also slowing it down, not inhaling food anymore. My little baby is one year old! I can't believe how much he has grown. It's sad for me but great to watch him do so many new things.
  21. Thanks for the link! That stomach looks HUGE to me - how do you all feel?
  22. That's great. What I'd love to see is a "normal" stomach beside those two pictures. I bet we would all be really excited to see that! I Googled around but don't remember the name of the test where they get this image...
  23. My hair came out pretty bad about 4 months after my c-section. I had a huge bald spot in the front for about 2 weeks...then it grew back great, so I am hoping that I get the same result with this. eep. Knock on wood and all that!
  24. Warm Water sounds like a great idea- maybe next time I will have a hot tea. Glad to know I am not the only one who has had that happen. Oregon - I am at 2 months out...but noticed a huge surge of hair coming out last week when I was eating so inconsistently. Just like before the surgery, weekends and days I am not at work, I struggle with consistency. I'm getting a bit better about it, though, b/c I would rather not spit up food again! blech.
  25. I threw up if I even got the whey stuff near my mouth, so I gave up on that. I ordered Sun Warrior Brown Rice Protein -- if you email them, they will send you a free sample. But what really SAVED me was drinking Odwalla Protein Monster drinks. I found them at my grocery store in a refrigerated area. It's a premade soy/milk drink . I don't need them now as I am getting all my protein from food, but for those weeks I couldn't eat, they were a lifesaver. Some people will say it's too high in calories, but I tended not to care about calories the first month (still lost @20 pounds though). HTH
