BTW I can even eat pickles which were a fav before surgery...and no issues some do have issues with that as well... I think sometimes I just need a sodium kick...
-
yeah definately I do not eat a lot of carbs makes me feel tooo full...ugh the only time I felt like I was having a bad dumping syndrome was when I was eating oranges... other wise Ive been good, I do not crave sweets at all, not even before surgery... now I am 9 months out and it is def a learning process.. not too many things upset me so I am lucky I guess I think it gets easier as time goes on... hang in there

just weird I did not expect the tugging feeling..she told me it would come out easlily and I felt like it didnt but no worries...its not painful.. IMO not nearly as painful as having your stomach removed....lol it will be fine and better everyday.

Im almost 9 months out, and I was told I could have wine after 1 month post op. Im able to drink as much as I did before, feel like I get buzzed at the same rate as I did before too, the only thing I noticed is that where I used to like red wine I only like the whites now..I do agree with the transfer addiction too, be careful

I had 6 I'm thinking my liver was large...I also had my gallbladder removed years ago...and the scars fade...so no biggie.

stunning at all sizes...congrats on the success!!!

sounds like Gallbladder issues or possibly a stomach spasm...I would definately call your PCP or surgeon on this one..
-
sorry cant help with this, I had it one time but I think it was due to the Blue Isopure drink I had the day before..
-
I think I will give it a try..thanks for posting

within the first week I was driving, I never took any pain meds once I got home so it wasnt an issue. My Doc said once you are off the pain meds its ok to drive..now lifting was another story I had to wait a month for that.

Sounds Good Meggie, I think I might give it a try, mine are still a little reddish..

I am five weeks post op and all of a sudden my incisions have started itching. I find myself scratching my stomach all the time and looking like a nut. Since day one after the surgery I have put cocoa butter and mederma on my scars to reduce the appearance and really they are just specs now so that worked but the itching is driving me crazy. Is this normal so far after surgery.
I was told it is part of the healing process. I was also told not to put anything on them right after surgery..Wish I could help you!

Thank you! i have to stay in the hospital for 2 nights and im just worried bout it thank you!
they told me to bring mine, I put it on voluntarily the first night b/c I was afraid with all the pain meds..second day I didnt wear it. They didnt force me to wear it at all.

That's kinda my experience, too, Kelli....eat about 1/4-1/2 cup and be full and then 2.5 hours later..HUNGRY! Trying to stretch it out to 3.5 hours before I eat.
its like trying to get an infant on a schedule...lol

I puked my guts out on day 2 I dont see how that can possibly by worse...common..folks!
-
its weird I am full so sudden and then starving 2 hours later...not sure what to do my self ...I do enjoy food though I cant get used to eating it in 30 mins..and spreading it out.
