  4. this is sad....try to chew your food and make it into a paste...are you have enough proteins and lots of water? These are very important .Come on cheer up...write down your daily diet.try to exercise daily.

    In india lap band is not so successful because our diet is very low in proteins. we dont get good options for non veg also.i have had 2 fills and dont feel very hungry. but now my body has got used to the 1200 cal diet .so I thought of going on a liquid diet for few days. I am going to Melbourne on 1st.I do want to loose few kgs.

    I was banded on 15th march 2011...i lost wt only in the first month. my weight earlier was 92.5 kg...i came down to 85 kg. then I had liposuction for thighs and hips and came down to 81kg...but now I am putting on wt.gone to 83 kg. I am eating proteins, have water, but my exercise is not much...due to arthritis my movements are slow.I am mostly a vegetarian so sometimes protein is less.

    hi....our bodies respond differently isnt it... I too am not loosing..but I have understood 3 things...drink plenty of Water, eat lot of Proteins and exercise.... and i am not doing these regularly...so I cant blame the band... but I am happy I put the band..at least i eat less and stopped putting on weight..all the best to all of us slow loosers..

    hi...even I am not loosing...tho I eat lot of protein..our bodies resist a lot..it is a combination of exercise, high protein diet and lots of water....combine all three stop junk food and you will loose.

    i HAVE ARTHRITIS AND OMEGA 3 HELPS MY JOINTS. IS IT OK TO SWALLOW IT? IT HAS A BAD SMELL TASTE SO CHEWING IT IS NOT SUCH A GOOD IDEA.DOES ANYONE SWALLOW THESE GLOBULES.

  17. i DID NOT HAVE DIABETES TILL NOW BUT NOW i AM SUSPECTING IT.TOO THRISTY ALL THE TIME..AND GOING TO THE LOO SO OFTEN.... MY DOCTOR HAS ALSO TOLD ME TO GO FOR A BLOOD TEST. i NOTICED i WAS PUTTING ON WEIGHT FOR NO REASON....MAYBE THIS IS THE REASON.. LIFE IS SO COMPLICATED....i WISH WE HAD ALL EXERCISED AND BEEN FIT WHEN WE WERE YOUNG!!!!

    hi...actually we are not advised to eat bread..pasta....but if u do eat it...chew for a long time and then swallow....vomiting all the time is bad for the band my doctor said......take care...

    actually doctors confuse us. what is equally important is having proteins and drinking plenty of water. When ever I drink less water my weight goes up.I loose when I have more proteins and drink lots of water.

    you should have protein shakes, cheese ,chicken.try to keep a count of the gms.we need around 50 gms of protein daily to loose weight. have less of carbs that is pasta rice piza...and more of proteins.

    hi all...even I have been too frustrated..but at last I think I have found the answer...go on eating proteins....now I have protein shakes,chicken,cheese eggs....and finally it comes to 50 gms ....earlier I was a veggie and my proteins were a pathetic 20 gms or 30 gms.

    wow..what an informative post this is...I have been eating hardly 30 to 40 gms protien,somedays even less....no wonders my body is not responding... I will surely up my protien now..
