    Obesity Linked To Lower Paychecks

I DEFINITELY believe theres some truth to this article, because for the last year and a half I've been also landing a lot of interviews but not the job. That's one reason why I NEED this surgery. It would definitely assist the process and also make a healthier me

My Insanity! Journey... Shaun T Would Be So Proud. ;)

It's a 90 day workout and meal plan if followed correctly increases your strength, stamina and redesigns your overall physique.
  4. I guess this self explanatory lol... I truly understand that many individuals post-op are no longer able to stomach the foods or drinks they most loved Pre-op. so tell me what have you substituted your old favorite for? What's your new favorite?
  5. A three piece suit! Cause there's is not anything that would make the newer me feel so empowered in a classy kind of way lol
  6. liquid diet consist of anything liquid substances that are clear or see through. Like apple sauce, chicken broth and etc... The main goal of the liquid Pre-op diet is to shrink the liver as much as possible in order to be able to maneuver it around easily so it does not get in the way during surgery... this increases the overall success rate and decreases the overall duration of surgery... Some Dr. recommend 3-7 days of Pre-opt diet Hope this helps

    I Don't Understand 'sliders.'

Sliders are empty liquid calories instead of full solid calories... For example: ice cream is considered to be empty liquid calories
  8. @puss funny thing is they didn't give me a time yet lol... I get that my NEXT visit which is 2 weeks prior to my actual date... But I'm guessing it will be in the morning
  9. I'm curious to know since a lot of people choose not to tell others about their surgery due to their negative responses, on the day of the surgery did you go their alone? We're u accompany? And if you were accompanied did you decide to tell that person or persons the day before???
  10. There are a lot of crazy and funny experiences at first wake after surgery lol. I'm just glad everyone made it back safe and sound with very little discomfort. Can't wait for my surgery! April 26th here I come!

    What Did I Do?

Start all over again... Start up a liquid diet and work your way up to a soft foods, then eventually solids again. That's your best bet. Start very small and try to find out which foods agree with you... I kno you're feeling regret but it happens, it's part of the lifestyle changing process. Like your nut said, the healing varies from individual to individual. Keep the faith!

Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?

this is great! so many April sleevers means a whole lot of mental support! i'm happy for everyone here
  17. Well this is definitely psychological as far as self-perspective. Just like your skin when you lose a ton of weight, it takes a lot of time for it to adjust to your "new" body, well your psyche is the same way. After being big for so many years and suddenly losing a lot of weight, mentally you still tend feel like you're still big person because your daily life cycling activities haven't caught up to the new yet. In other words, when you start living like a small person physically, your psyche starts to believe it also. I am a firm believer, Kiki, that we all "dislike" our bodies pre-op, because if we didnt most of us wouldnt be here right now. But to clarify, our level of "dislike" varies from person to person significantly. Some of us dislike certain parts, others everything. yes, there is possibility that you may not like the new you that will blossom, but you have to understand that with every lb lost or gained, we change, because we notice it and that can have both a negative and position effect depending on which side you land on. Me, on the other hand i have a goal to reach and a physique to achieve. So i will have no choice but to work hard to lose the weight then work harder to build muscle to achieve my body's true potential, well at least get close enough to it lol

Lose And Loose Are Two Completely Different Words

Yeah I get pissed off also when people confuse the terms THERE, THEIR, and THEY'RE lol... It's comical to me

    Hair Loss

Hair loss doesn't occur for everyone especially if you're taking in all the proper vitamins and nutrients on top of everything else your surgeon and nut recommends
  20. Congrats on the new experience! I'm a guy and but I enjoy dressing to perfection. I guess because my family wear always into different styles of fashion I got caugh up in the mix. Anyway, since I've gained so much weight lately I haven't been able to keep it cause finding clothes is hard enough, trying to match my clothed accordingly that's jus insane lol... So after my surgery, April 26th, I will be be one step closer to the fashion world. Sorry to drift off topic but reading your experience brought mine into perspective... Congrats again!!!!
