Well its imperative that you get your sister comfortable. If i was you i would try to speak to dr kelly directly and raise your concers, there must be a hospital pay phone that you can use?

Can you try to phone the coodinator, to put her on the phone to one of the nurses? Or phone Dr Kelly directly?

Hey, Yeah its a pretty long flight, but im breaking it up and upgraded so i have more space to move about. Ill do 4 hours then rest then do the long one 13 hours the next day. Trying to not to worry about it and be really positive. I think a lot of people book last min so you still have a few weeks to find someone!

Hello there! You sound as if everything is going great, i am planning on surgery with with Dr Kelly in April, i just still need to finalise flights and sort nerves out! Did you tell people at work that you had a holiday? Im hoping that I wont need to tell anyone anything, i went on a holiday, came back, realised that i looked awful in the holiday pictures so drastically changed my diet. Its no one elses business but mine. I can keep to myself in work though, it might be difficult for other people to do that. x Groove

Ok i have been checking out your surgeon. Read your review and everything sounded fantastic! The only thing that is putting me off is that i will be coming on my own so i really want a whole package kind of thing where i will be picked up and dropped of at the hotel, someone to "hold my hand" when i need it! I had recieved some info from a place in india, whole deal is 6800 dollars and the flights from UAE to there are very cheap. There is still somthing drawing me to Mexico though. I am just hoping that things will fall into place and i will know when it is right to book and who with. Like you said in a post, this board has been wonderful, it is my bible at the moment! xxx

I have been in touch with Melissa from Mt Zion (dr almanza), to be honest she is the only coordinator from tj who has answered all of my questions and concerns. If i hadnt read so much bad stuff i wouldnt think twice about doing it with him. Im thinking about you and wishing you a safe trip home! Groove

Something was to happen, but you only have 15 % of what u should have? Anyone else worry about this? I suppose its just the permanance of the procedure that scares me. How did you get over these fears?

Thanks a lot! Hope ur feeling good? I read ur other post & I'm having same prob as you had. I wanted dr ciarny with cosmetic bliss but my bmi is just 35 and at the moment are saying no. Did you ever think about going further for your surgery? The packages available in mexico are awesome, for so much cheaper but the long flight is putting me off!

Thanks for your reply Globetrotter. Yes they are doing the surgery here, however, costs are double what i would pay in Mexico. The doctors that i have to choose from are limited and having already visited a few for consultations, was not impressed with "customer service" and general care available after. 3 weeks later is impossible for me and I would need to travel home a week max, after surgery. Still in research mode so maybe I will find something better suited to me over here! Thanks again for your input! Groove
