Find someone to be a partner with and ask them to hold you accountable for it.
Barring that find something that you LIKE to do. I too hate the gym, went for a few months then got tired of the sheer boredom of it - that and the disrespectful people who refused to wipe down equipment when they left or hogged certain machines non stop - let alone the grunters, gawd how I hate the grunters. For me it was swimming, I've always loved to swim. Then I got back into biking, bought a new bike this last summer and now have about 1000 miles on it.
If you just CANNOT find something you enjoy then realize that you will only be able to lose to a certain amount and won't get lower than that unless you diet and hold to it, and I'm afraid - as most of us know too well - dieting and laziness are at odds for most (formerly) obese people.
YES! I TAKE MY SANTIWIPES and wipe down my self before and after! My friend got a staph infection one time because of the gym!
My gym "Women's Workout World", they have fun music that pumps us up, they have fun work out classes, etc... you have to find something you love.
I love to dance, so my gym is perfect for me. I love to club, so their music is fun for me, they have club music, they also have a 50's workout class, I love oldies so I have fun with that class.
if they don't have what you like, take your Ipod or MP3, I love Twilight so when I am not in the mood of club music, I take my IPOD and listen to my fav soundtrack songs, my motivation... the handsome vampires.. gotta look good for them! (I have met many of them and attend alot of events so I have think of that!!! lol)

That happens to me alot! But I agree with peeps above. I mean I have dated big dudes in the past, but not like obese guys. I did date this guy who had gastric bypass, and he was had so much loose skin, I hate to say it was a turn off when we tried to get intimate (his mushyness was weird to touch), I was younger and thin back then. Poor guy, now look who is in the same boat as he was! hahaha, me!

I am on the same boat as you are! I need 26lbs to go to reach my goal! I lost 80 so far... so I will wait here patiently til someone has tricks besides the gym, lol

but that is silly, huh? Why would I be afraid of being judged on here when everyone here has had or are having the sleeve...

I always have those days, be strong and reach for healthy munchies. I wish I could take my own advice! But old habits are hard to break, even though at the begining I had more will power than now!

hmmm, you are the first person who said that I prob have an introverted personality. I honestly don't think I am... and if I am.. I am not your stereotypically shy gal, lol. Or what do you mean by that? I am the loud one and very social... but I will admit, I have a self image issue. I know I am pretty, but I don't think I am. I know I lost 80lbs and look good but not good enough. I don't care what people say yet I want to protect myself from gossip and getting hurt.
I think I can trust people on this site, and not share my picture and make fun of me? lol, I don't know?

I signed up my daughter to go with me to the gym, she loves to look cute so she always drags me to the gym! I also take natural energy pills and that motivates me once I am on those damn machines! lol I love the feeling of after the gym. I feel proud and energized! woohoo! I think if you find a good dedicated work out buddy, you will do go at the gym!

Hi everyone.. I have a question.
I see some of you are "hiding" like I am, not revealing who we really are. Why? Why do I do it myself? I guess I don't want to be found in the real world? Made fun of if found?
I mean I should be proud of my weight loss success?
My friends/family who are close to me and trustworthy know... so what does it matter who else know, as long as my true friends and family support me and help me?
There are days, especially lately.. I want to put my pic up on my avatar, I want to put before/after pics..
but.. I can't???
and not sure why?
I shouldn't care what people say! right?!?
I made my 1st step,,, posted my Facebook link on my profile, 1st step to revealing who I am..
I mean I already have a few friends on fb who I met here, but that's different

My husband told me that he doesn't want me buying any more clothes until after surgery. This is a good thing - means he's getting used to the idea.My husband didn't approve of my slutty dress, he said you can almost see my butt, he said my butt looks very sexy. Lol, I told him then he needs to show off his sexy wife, he said he will take me clubbing for my bday:)

Yes, please don't worry. My cousin is getting her sleeve on Oct 16th and expects aunt flo that day! Nurses told her to not freak out, they will provide the big hospital ob pads with mesh dispos. panties. I work in a hospital and we get that alot! Believe me, it's not that unusual
-
AW, don't worry. Seriously. My friend/co-worker just got sleeved and like you she was set back due to her blood sugar going up due to change of meds. She felt as if it was the end of the world and wanted to quit on her procedure. Time flew by and ta-da! She has been sleeved for a week now!

Just like I said you sad little child, but then again, look at your age. Very mature huh?
Get a life!
