  1. I am currently going from 269 to 270 and it's been that way for almost 2 weeks. I hate it! I really need some advice. What are some good ways to help break a stall? Does protein intake help break it? Any advice would be helpful!!! Thank you.

    Mini-Goals, anyone????

I've been looking for the what will you weigh thread!!! lol- I saw it once and I was inputting my info and then I clicked something and I lost the page!!! I'm gonna try to find it again.
  4. I think I may be hungry.... I want fish

  5. To me, it feels like if I take another bite I will burst. I thought at first that I had overdone things b/c it just felt like I was soooo full, almost like I had sat down and ate a BigMac, a supersize fry, 2 apple pies and a large beverage, and I had only in reality taken about 4 bites of my food lol. Once I burped, I felt better immediately though, but I stayed full for like 6 hours, that was the one time I think I overdid things. I haven't had that problem anymore, I usually take a bite read or watch something for a couple of minutes then take another bite. The longer I stretch out the time, the more I can eat. How does it feel to you?

    Mini-Goals, anyone????

That sounds pretty cool. My school is offering some kick boxing classes for free like the first week of summer so I may look into that and see if they offer boxing as well. I bet that is a really intense good workout!

  9. I'm having the same issue! My skin is breaking out bad! I had my first period since surgery and it was the most painful it's ever been in my life. Midol nor pamprin worked. I think I am going to see a dermatologist as well. Let me know how that works out for you

    Stall/Plateau

We have the same surgery date! I was going through a 2 week stall and it finally broke yesterday. I upped my water, lowered my carbs and made sure I hit that 60 grams of protein. I upped my water tremendously. I also went to the gym 3 times this week. I tried to burn at least 300 calories while I was in there. I woke up this morning and I had lost 3 lbs. I posted a story like yours and I got some advice from a fellow sleever and I'm glad I followed it cause the stall was driving me crazy. Don't get too discouraged, I hope that this info helps. Take care. Let us know when your stall breaks.

    young and sleeveless....

I'm 23 now, and I had the sleeve done about 5 weeks ago. I personally started looking into weight loss surgery at 19. That's when I got to college and my weight ballooned! I was a chubby kid growing up, and then when I became a teenager I guess all the baby fat fell off and I was always round 138 my highschool career until my senior year of highschool, that's when I got up to 185 and by the end of my first semester of college I was 264 lbs. It progressively got worse and I've tried many diets, I exercised, I did everything and I would lose some- and gain more back. It took going to see my doctor in January to get me to take the final leap. He left the room- I read the comments he put on my chart- it said extremely obese for each cause of every problem I was having at the time and I just was fed up. (I had went to a seminar like 8 months prior too), but now- I'm very glad I had the sleeve done. I think it will help improve the quality of your life tremendously. I would say look into going to a seminar or two, it really helps.

  13. Thank you so much Irene! I followed your advice yesterday! I went for a long walk around campus, I lowered my carbs, I upped my protein and water and I even started a food journal lol. I woke up this morning and I had lost 3lbs!!! I was like get out!!! No WAY! lol. Thank you alot!!! I'm headed to the gym now.

3500 Calories per pound of fat?

I took a healthy lifestyles class last summer and we actually had a formula on how to calculate all of that. Of course, I don't remember how but it makes perfect sense. I wish I could find the formula so you guys could see it. It calculates caloric intake and deficit and all kinds of stuff depending on your life style. It also lets you put in how much you want to loose in a week and it gives you how many calories you would have to burn and how many you would have to intake. It's pretty cool.

Cool, I intend on reading your blog! I have a journal I've been doing since I was 13, so I have about 15 of those lol. I started a separate one once I got the sleeve done so now I try to write on here and my journals. I feel like I'm doing alot but I love writing. I'm looking forward to reading your blog!!!
