My dream size is 10 - 12. In other words normal. I lost down to this size back in 1994 and the old saying came true for me loose weight get pregnant. Well I have not reached that size since. I have set my goal to be the weight I was for this size.

Your id always reminds me of an old TV show with Ryan Reynolds. "Two guys and a girl" ... it changed the name to "Two guys a girl and a pizza place". Seeing it makes me smile.

I have to go to 6 months of support groups for insurance reasons and out of about 25 people there was one RNY and 1 pending band and my pending sleeve. There was one guy that had been sleeved but he was unable to stay ... He lost almost 100 lbs in 4 months. WOW! Most did not even know there was an alternative to the band. Now I live in a very small town, but they had not even heard of my surgeon and their surgeon did not mention the other choices like mine did. After being presented with my choices I researched and decided on the sleeve. I am still in the insurance requirement stage and do not know when my surgery will be. I love the info and members of this site. Thanks to you all!

Steph,
I have UHC too and am on month 4 of the 6 month Physician supervised weight loss. My UHC has just recently added (for my insurance plan) a 6 month support group component, which I am now in month 2. I am not close enough yet to estimate a surgery date, but I imaging it will be near yours.

In the science labs I took in college (many years ago) I found out that Calorie is a unit to measure heat. I often wondered if you ate fewer calories if you would feel colder.

Yowza! I sure hope this doesn't happen to me. I am hot all the time now as it is. My family wears sweat shirts during the summer in my house because I keep it so cold. I sure hope this stage ends for you very soon.
