    endoscopy tomorrow!

Stacey ~You will need someone to drive you. When I had mine done, they would not even do the procedure unless you had someone with you to drive afterward.
  6. I did not shower until I got home. The IV was in my arm until right before I was discharged. I was really ready for surgery and can't think of anything unexpected. Did you find Lil miss Diva's list of things to bring to the hospital? Best of luck on a speedy recovery. Remember to sip, rest, walk and repeat.

    endoscopy tomorrow!

You will completely out. When I woke up after about 15 minutes, I felt rested like I had 7 hours of sleep. Nice.
  10. I will start off by saying everyone is different and I have a very easy (no lifting) job. I was back at my desk at 12 days post op. I could have returned earlier but I went out of town to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. I returned home on day 11 and was at work on day 12. Best of luck to you!

    Am I alone

Did they do a leak test after your sleeve surgery? When I had mine they took a picture of my new stomach size/shape. Maybe you can ask to see yours. Also ask what size bougie they used (mine was a 32). It sounds like you do not have the proper amount of restriction from the sleeve. If I were in your position I would be looking for answers too. I am sure other members with a lot more medical background than I have will offer much better advise than I was able to provide. HUGS!
  15. INTJ but my husband is an ESFP. We are complete opposites in our thinking. It makes communication difficult, but we make a great team. We can each cover for the others weaknesses.

    VSG Surgery vs. C-Section

I had three c-sections and the recovery for VSG was much easier. I could walk without any discomfort at all after the sleeve. That was not the case with a c-section. People could tell I was walking funny. It is very interesting to compare the two events. I went into the WLS with the same excitement I did when I was having a baby.
