I have racking my brain thinking maybe im eating too many calories ( 600-700) or maybe i should be doing something different, but now i see i have to actually get out there and start with the exercise. :)

  8. Hello everyone, thanks for all your well wishes, today we just had our lsat meal before surgery, we are excited and cant wait for tomorow. Reading all your experiences in life and your journey to get where you are have been very inspirational, and helpful. I have been trying to talk myself out of the surgery but today im happy to say im excited to get this surgery over with and start living a happier healthier life.

  9. Well as i read the blogs, the more excited i get, its been a roller coaster ride for me, one day im nervous, next day im scared and now im excited. I have been overweight all my life, never thought i would do anything like this. I was always against it, but after a follow up vist with my diabetes specialist last september, i was told im only getting worst and there was nothing i could do, no matter how much i tried i would get worst, so i turned to the sleeve, and its been a process :). Luckly for me im doing it with my sister, which happens to be one of my best friend too :) so we will be supporting each other, i dont think i could do it without her. So March 21 is the big day, we are doing the Protein Shakes which i have grown to like, tastes alot like a mexican shake we have had all our lifes, so its been easy, the only thing i crave everything.....but i have been holding on and we will see, hope to God everything turns out well no complications. :)

  10. Ok so i have been approved..yay for me lol...and the date is set for March 21, a little nervous, but now i have to give notice to my supervisor, my doctor said i would need a week off for recovery, seeing that i dont do heavy lifting at my job, im an administrative so im at my desk 90% of the time. so my question is how long of a recovery time will i need until i get back to work, assuming no complications arise? All advise welcome.
