  1. Dr. Hoehn did my surgery on April 13 so I am 4 days post op. No problems with surgery and I have not had any problems with his office. I have been told by several people that he is a really good surgeon. Renee

  2. Hey Virginia. How are you? I have not been on here much lately and can definitely tell my resolve is not what it should be. I have found I can eat pretty much anything I want and this is not good. I'm back on meat, eggs, cheese, yogurt. I only get one shot at this and have found that I don't have much restriction. How you are doing well...unfortunately I think I have gained. Yikes!

  3. How are you doing? We are sleeve sisters. I saw you were sleeved on April 13. Me too! Let's stay in touch and be encouragement for each other!

  4. Deb - Just checking on you.....How are you girl? I'm struggling....unfortunately I have found that I can eat pretty much anything and don't have much restriction! I am trying to re-focus and get back on meat, eggs, cheese and stay away from those damn carbs!

  5. Heather - just checking in on you. How are you? We had surgery about the same time and started out at about the same weight. Unfortunately, I have really been struggling and have not been on here much lately. I need to re-focus and get my butt in gear. I'm down 50 pounds, but have not lost for 3 weeks - maybe a small gain. I don't have much restriction and have got to stay away from carbs!

  6. When is your surgery? I know it is coming up. Mine is Dec. 22 and I am needing to lose about the same and you. I am planning to start on South Beach today in hopes of jump starting my weight loss and getting my head in the right place!! Renee

  7. Checking in on you. How are you doing?

  8. Hope you are feeling better. Walk and move - I hear that really helps with those nasty gas pains. (I'm preop so no real experience to share with you.) Just wanted you to know I'm sending good vibes your way and hoping you are feeling better!

  9. Deb -

Did you have to have cardio clearance with Dr. Hoehn?

    Renee

  10. Tell me what you are eating these days. I have been kind of stuck having the same things, i.e. egg salad, turkey cream cheese rollups, cottage cheese, scrambled egg with cheese. Any suggestions??

  11. OMG - I just saw - you are over 100 lbs lost! Congratulations! You are doing AMAZING!!! You must feel so much better. I can't wait to get this weight off and be able to move again! BTW - Love your new picture!

  12. Good to hear from you. I love your new picture!! Too fun! I seem to be getting along well, other than I have come down with a really bad cold and am coughing a bunch. I am concerned I may cough open my staple line since I am only 17 days post op. I took some Robitusson Cough Syrup last night and that seemed to help. I am down 36 pounds (21 preop and 15 post op). I am sooo excited!!!

  13. Would you do it again if given the choice???

  14. Trying to get re-focused! Need to get back tracking the protein and carbs!!

  15. Good Luck to you on your upcoming surgery!

  16. How's it going? Just thought I check on you to see how your journey back to real food is going. So far so good for me - haven't puked yet anyway!! I've tried a scrambled egg, cottage cheese, deli turkey with small amount of cream cheese rolled up, and refried beans so far. I'm going to make deviled eggs for easter so that will be my next adventure! Hope all is going well for you. Renee

  17. Missing You!!!

  18. Hey Samantha. I'm still pretty sore. I'm actually sleeping in my recliner and it seems to work pretty well. I have my follow up appointment with Dr. on Wednesday (1 week after surgery) so it will be interesting to see if I have lost anything. After one week I can start on full lliquids so I am looking forward to some light yogurt, SF pudding, low fat cottage cheese.

  19. You are soooo close! Way to work that sleeve!

  20. Hey Kelly. How are you doing? I see you have started on some yogurt. I can't wait! I have my doctor's appointment on Wednesday and I should be able to start on some light yogurt, sf pudding, cottage cheese, etc. I need to start working at getting my protein in as I have really just been focusing on my liquids this first week. I bought some Premier Choc Shakes at Costco that have 30 grms prot

  21. Just stopping by to see how you are doing? I seem to be getting along well and am losing weight! Love my Sleeve!!

  22. Hey Deb. Just thought I'd stop by and stay Hi. I'm doing pretty good. I'm sore but no nausea and I'm not having any trouble getting my lliquids in so that is good. I agree with LilMissDiva, you need some updated pictures!! I see Dr. H on Wednesday so hopefully I will be able to move on to some real food, even though it will only be a couple tablespoons. Wow, that sounds weird!

  23. Robbie, I am finally sleeved. Dr. Hoehn did it on Wed. April 13. How are you doing?

  24. I just wanted to say Hi and see how you are doing. We started at about the same weight and you had your surgery about 1 month before mine as I was sleeved on April 13. I also have three handsome boys, ages 15, 18 and 21. If you have any words of wisdom, I'd love to hear them! Renee

  25. It's good you are working out so much. I keep telling myself I need to get with it. I am just starting to feel like I could get going on some exercise so need to kick it in gear.
