You look amazing and I must say "very happy". We joined the forum about the same time and I haven't been on much lately. Just saw your post and wanted to say Congratulations. You must be so proud of yourself. My surgery was scheduled over Christmas break and canceled due to cold. I have rescheduled for April 13. You are truly an inspiration!!! Renee

Rescheduled Surgery for April 13. Just hoping I don't chicken out!

Hi Deb! Just checkin in on you. You are doing great!!! Congrats on the 135 pounds gone. You must feel great. I am looking to schedule surgery again. Looking at April if Dr. H can do it. I wanted to ask you about acid reflux. Have you had any problems with it?

I am trying to figure out when I will have enough sick/vacation days accumulated so I can have the surgery. I thinking it may not be until around Memorial Day in May, but am not sure yet. Take care and stay in touch.

Thanks for checking in with me. You are doing awesome!! A size 14 and in onederland!!! You must be so proud of yourself...I am so happy for you! I have managed to gain back most of the 20 plus pounds lost on my presurgery diet....guess that is why we need the surgery....to save ourselves from gaining it back!!!

Good news is when they weighed me in at hospital I was down 25 pounds from 2 week pre-op diet! I'm sure some is water weight as i had to drink a bottle Magnesium Citrate day before surgery to clean me out! Am going to try to stay focused and keep that 25 pounds off!

I showed up, they had me in my hospital gown and support hose, ready to give me pills for surgery when the Anethesia person came to check me and sent me home. I have a cold and he felt my lung congestion and cough would not allow them to administer anethesia properly and thus increased risk. So....back to the drawing board.

Just looking back on old post and saw where you wrote about getting the foamies when you eat veggies. Are you still having trouble with veggies? Just trying to figure it all out. Congratulations on your success! You are doing great!!! Renee

Am struggling thru my pre-op diet but doing okay. I have come down with a bad cold. Hoping they will still do surgery on Wednesday!

Thanks for the honest answer. I have always loved good food and I guess it's hard to imagine not being able to eat hardly anything. I guess I just need to remember that it is somewhat temporary as Tiffikins says she can pretty much eat whatever she wants - just in smaller portions at one year out. I know I can't continue to weigh what I weigh and be healthy.

Had my preop appointment with Dr. H last Wednesday. On my liquid diet now - surgery scheduled for next Wednesday (22nd). Am sacred and nervous. Hoping I don't chicken out. Do you really love your sleeve???
