Thanks for your number Deb. I put it in my cell phone so I will have it saved. I'm hanging in there on PreOp Diet. Seems harder to do this time around. Not sure why. Too much food in the house. I have three sons that live at home (ages 15, 18 and 21) so I'm still cooking! Maybe that's the problem.... I'm trying to stay focused!!!

The good news is when I weighed in yesterday I was down 25 pounds from my pre op diet! Am calling Dr. office today to talk about re-scheduling. My problem is I started a new job and haven't accumulated much sick leave or vacation time. The University closes over Christmas so I am off for 1 1/2 weeks right now and timing would have been great if surgery would have been as scheduled!

Thurs around 10:00 is good. I didn't want to miss you! It will be great to meet you! Klalfin13 (Natalie) is having surgery the same day as me - 1/2 hour later with Dr. Hoehn. (It must not take long to cut out 2/3 of a stomach! Hee Hee. Thanks for all your support!! Renee

ust wanted to let you know they canceled my surgery yesterday. I showed up, they had me in my hospital gown and support hose, ready to give me pills for surgery when the Anethesia person came to check me and sent me home. I have a cold and he felt my lung congestion and cough would not allow them to administer anethesia properly and thus increased risk. So....back to the drawing board.

When is your surgery? I know it is coming up. Mine is Dec. 22 and I am needing to lose about the same and you. I am planning to start on South Beach today in hopes of jump starting my weight loss and getting my head in the right place!! Renee

When you say you mix your meat, vegies, etc., are you blending these together?

Will have to wait until I have enough sick leave/vacation time earned at my new job. Am hoping for March - but will have to check at work. Hope you had a great Christmas!

You must be so proud of yourself. My surgery was scheduled over Christmas break and canceled due to cold. I have rescheduled for April 13. You are truly an inspiration!!! Renee
