  3. Hi Deb. I went to see Dr. H yesterday. I'm doing fine. Got my staples out (which feels much better). I am to go back in two months. (He told me I would be down a bunch when he sees me next!) I lost 4 more pounds so counting my preop loss I am down 26 pounds. I'm still sore, but actually had an egg and some cottage cheese yesterday. Woo Hoo!! Renee

  13. Glad to hear that.....as I"m already thinking about when I can have normal food!! I go to the doctor tomorrow to get my staples out and I should get the okay to move on to some regular foods...scrambled egg, tuna or chicken w/mayo, refried beans, sf yogurt, cottage cheese, sf pudding. I'm ready!!! Pretty tired of broth and sf jello.

    It feels so good

Congrats. You must be sooo proud of yourself. Way to work that sleeve girl!
  15. When you say you mix your meat, vegies, etc., are you blending these together?

  16. I know how you feel as I was scheduled for surgery in December and arrived at the hospital that morning, but was sent home due to chest congestion and cough. I was not able to reschedule until April so had to wait four months. I know it is disappointing, but the time will pass quickly. I was disappointed, but also knew that I wanted to be healthy when I had surgery in order to recover as quickly as possible.
  17. I am already thinking about what I can eat on Wednesday.... It will be good to see if I have lost any more weight. I sure hope so!!

  18. I just wanted to say Hi and see how you are doing. We started at about the same weight and you had your surgery about 1 month before mine as I was sleeved on April 13. I also have three handsome boys, ages 15, 18 and 21. If you have any words of wisdom, I'd love to hear them! Renee

  19. Robbie, I am finally sleeved. Dr. Hoehn did it on Wed. April 13. How are you doing?

  20. Hey Deb. Just thought I'd stop by and stay Hi. I'm doing pretty good. I'm sore but no nausea and I'm not having any trouble getting my lliquids in so that is good. I agree with LilMissDiva, you need some updated pictures!! I see Dr. H on Wednesday so hopefully I will be able to move on to some real food, even though it will only be a couple tablespoons. Wow, that sounds weird!

  21. Hey Kelly. How are you doing? I see you have started on some yogurt. I can't wait! I have my doctor's appointment on Wednesday and I should be able to start on some light yogurt, sf pudding, cottage cheese, etc. I need to start working at getting my protein in as I have really just been focusing on my liquids this first week. I bought some Premier Choc Shakes at Costco that have 30 grms prot

  22. Hey Samantha. I'm still pretty sore. I'm actually sleeping in my recliner and it seems to work pretty well. I have my follow up appointment with Dr. on Wednesday (1 week after surgery) so it will be interesting to see if I have lost anything. After one week I can start on full lliquids so I am looking forward to some light yogurt, SF pudding, low fat cottage cheese.

    April 2011 Sleevers

Had my surgery April 13. so I am now 4 days post op. No nausea and am really surprised it was not as difficult as I expected. My tummy is sore, but I am not having any problem getting my fluids in. I will work on getting more protein next week. Congratulations and best wishes to all of us starting this journey to a healthier, happier, can sit on the floor and get up life! Renee
  24. How are you doing? We are sleeve sisters. I saw you were sleeved on April 13. Me too! Let's stay in touch and be encouragement for each other!

  25. Dr. Hoehn did my surgery on April 13 so I am 4 days post op. No problems with surgery and I have not had any problems with his office. I have been told by several people that he is a really good surgeon. Renee
