Hey, Sleeve-Twin!! I don't have any different advice from what everyone else has already said. I am a slow loser too. I have only lost 34 pounds since the surgery. I too lose great for a week or two weeks, then lose nothing for a week or two weeks (or three...). I have noticed that I stop losing weight if I let myself stay constipated for very long. Then when I finally get everything moving again, I'll start losing again. I don't know the answers. But I don't let myself get crazy over it. Keep me updated on your progress. And don't let it stress you out too much because the stress can make your body hold onto the weight too. Good luck!!!

When you are awake, get up and walk around for at least 5 minutes about every hour. If you are asleep, REST and don't worry about it!!!

I mix a little pace picante sauce in it and dip pretty much any kind of meat or chicken in it. I use it on my tacos too.

Everyone in my family and everyone I work with has been on me about my clothes being too baggy. So for date night last night, my husband took me shopping for some new pants. I bought three pairs of size 16 jeans and capris!!!!! This is the first time in 13 years that I have not had to buy my clothes in the plus size section!!! What an amazing feeling! I always hated buying clothes for myself before nut I can tell already that I am gonna be a shopping FREAK!!!! lol!

I am 8 weeks out, and the only time I felt like that I actually had a stomach virus. I threw up what little I had in my stomach and could not eat for two whole days. Could you have a virus??

I have had the same experience with coffee I loved it before surgery and it was a social thing too. I loved to have coffee with the hubby in the afternoon, or go to my parents for coffee on Saturday afternoon. Now, I can't stand the taste at all! I try to look at the bright side, I don't have to worry about getting addicted to caffeine again!!

I got married in August of last year. I know my husband loves me just the way I was (he married me while I was fat, after all) but I want to spend the next 60 or 70 years with him. And I knew, at 287lbs, that was pretty unlikely. I also have 2 young daughters who lost their daddy when they were 9 and 2, and I want to do everything in my power to live as long as I can for them!
