  1. You guys are all right! I need to go back to the basics! I have printed off LilmissDiva's back to basics bootcamp. I am increasing my Water intake right now. I am also logging my intake again and reading the posts on this sight!! I will get back on the right track!! Thanks for the encouragement!!

  2. I was sleeved in April of 2011. My lowest weight, about 6 months ago, was 178. I am now back up to 200. I just can not seem to get my mind back to where it needs to be!!! I do not want to go back to the way I was before this surgery. I am desperate. Please, someone, anyone, talk me through this!!

  3. Well, I had a goal to be at 187 by August 19th. That is my wedding anniversary and that would have put me losing 100 pounds in a year. I am going to be 5 1/2 pounds short. I am really frustrated. I try to tell myself to look at my overall weight loss. It is really amazing.I have lost 94.4 pounds in year, 52 pounds in the 4 months since my surgery. I am thinking that I'm not going to make myself short-term goals anymore. This was the first time I actually set a specific number in a specific period of time, and I think I get too hung up on the numbers when I do that???

I know that I have done a few little things to sabatoge myself lately too. I had completely quit drinking coffee before my surgery because I only like it with real sugar and CoffeeMate. In the last month I have started drinking it again (with the real sugar and CoffeeMate). I just got my first order of Click in and started drinking that this morning (LOVE IT), so I am hoping that will help me break the coffee habit again. I notice that now, at four months out, I can eat more and I am hungry more. I am struggling to drink enough Water too. I HAVE to make myself get my water in!!!

I guess I just needed to vent a little. I will now STOP whining, pull my big girl panties up (though they are much smaller than they use to be, just a large with no x's in front :D ) and do what I know I need to do!!! Thanks for listening!!

  4. I had surgery on April 11th at 244lbs. I just reached onederland about a week and a half ago. I am also a slow loser. Today is my 4 months anniversary of surgery and I have lost 51 lbs since then. The rest of my weight loss is pre op as well. Looks to me like you are right on par with me! Maybe we are normal after all?? lol Congrats on the weight you have loss thus far and good luck in continuing to lose!!!!

  5. People really use no censorship when talking! You are so right. It was a compliment to you because you have lost so much weight, but what about the person in line behind you who has gained a lot of weight. RUDE!!!

  6. Hi! I am from northeast Arkansas. I had my surgery April 11th with Dr. Jones in Jonesboro. I have lost 51 lbs since surgery, but 94 lbs since starting my journey August 19, 2010. I am HOPING to lose 100 lbs by August 19th of this year. That is actually my one year wedding anniversary too!! Welcome, and thanks for starting this group!!!

  7. I went to the doctor (not surgeon) at about 2 1/2 months out. I thought I was healed, had not pain or tenderness or anything. I was there for a kidney/bladder infection so he had me lay down on the exam table to check for any tenderness or swelling related to that. When he pressed around my stomach area, I came up off the table!!! I hadnt thought to mention that since I was there for a UTI and I hadn't had pain or soreness in 2 months!! So, yeah, you still are healing internally and can hurt yourself unintentionally.
