Thanks baby girl for the compliments. I love your new pic too. Yeah I get that all time about my age. In fact I have a 12 yr. grandson and when we are together some people have assume he is my son. I love it. It can only get better as I slim down. At least I'm hoping. Ha Ha!!!

I think you are doing great. Are you still watching your carbs? It's hard to continue to keep carbs at 30 or below. I find myself eating some extra fruit or some bread. LOL. I am feeling great and losing slowly, but I am OK with it. I just want to be below 200 by the end of the year. Well let's stay intouch. Later.

Thanks, Lisa for the B-day wish and commenting on my weight loss. I've had a few rough days lately, but I am feeling better now. Hugs

Hey Renee. Baby girl it's been awhile. I'm happy things are progressing for you. Good luck on your new job. I have a office job, but because Dr. H's office saw I worked for the post office they assumed it was heavy work, so they wrote the paperwork for 4 weeks. I took 2 weeks off. That was enough for me.
You are right I should post some pic up. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
Good luck and keep me updated. Have a good weekend!!!

Thanks sweetie. In April of this year I weight in at 321 pounds. WOW!!! I then decided to go to WW to jump start my weight loss until I could have my surgery. I went to WW from April to June and lost a total of 16 pounds. I have included all weight loss on my ticker from WW and my pre-op diet because I AM PROUD OF MYSELF. So if you take away the 16 pounds from the 71 it would be 55 pounds from the beginning of the pre-op diet which started Aug. 3rd. So, since Aug. 3rd, 50 days ago I have lost 55 pounds and NEVER to return. WOO HOO!!!!
Good luck to you Diva. Like I said before I'm sure you will be outstanding with your weight loss since you have had experience with the band.
Thanks, for all you do. You are very encouraging to everyone with your positive attiude. Keep up the good work:thumbup1:

Hey Diva. I feeling good, thanks for asking. My incisions are looking good and I can drink all of my fluids and and get my protein in. Really the only problem I see is and maybe this is TMI, but my bowels movement are not what they are suppose to be. I've been on mushies since my second week and I'm almost 5 weeks now. I am just not regular, so I might have to call my surgeon for advice.
How are you doing?

Baby girl..... glad to hear things are not to bad except for your headaches. Don't worry so much about the fluids, your tummy is still swollen, so really you are not gonna get that much in. Just take one day at a time. Get in as much as you can. Protein shakes can come later too. It gets better each day. Keep me updated. Ciao.

Hi OC. I doing very good after surgery and I credit my surgeon with that. I didn't have any gas pains that soooo many people on here talk about and barely have any other pains. I was off from work for about two weeks and that was enough. I feel very blessed to have my sleeve and I am working it to my full advantage.
Please keep my updated with your progress. Best wishes and good luck with pre-op.
