    Amazing feeling

Yes I lost quite a bit before surgery and of course people tried to talk me out of the surgery, but like everyone else the weight comes back. hee hee not this time. The best part of losing the weight is I'm off my blood pressure meds, my back pain has subsided alot, I'm off my water pills and I can move around better without feeling tired and out of breath all the time. My one main reason for doing this surgery was my babies and the other was the doctors wanted to do a 3 level fusion in my lower back with a 15% success rate, ummm negative. Thank you so much for the compliments

    New Hair

    Wow you look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Had a blast a the meeting with a few girls from here and then went to fredericks and my girls have left the building but not the country, All n all a very very good day. Yes ladies I posted the pix in the success stories section

  5. I think we all go through a meltdown. I sure did for over a week, but after about 2 weeks I was somewhat normal again. It takes a bit for your body to adjust on what just happened. You'll do fine and get through this hurdle.
  6. My food journal so far and all I'm missing is my lil bit of dinner, clearly shows I'm not getting enough calories (219 calories so far) to support my body and the workouts

  8. Now thats a great Valentine's day gift to have. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I'm starting to keep a food journal to find out exactly how many calories I'm taking in. I think my body is in starvation mode seeing I'm not losing weight but I am losing inches. I mean come on 1 turkey meatball 3 times a day is not much but we'll see

    First Goal

Yayyy, congrats your looking pretty darn good if you ask me.
  11. I love spanx too, I worn them under my wedding dress. My wedding dress wasn't a normal wedding dress seeing we got married on our favorite holiday Halloween . But I must go get a smaller size now hee hee
  12. I must agree, I get in a stall or gain a couple lbs and thanks to Diva's advice I pull out my "fat" jeans and then my current size jeans and haa haa, I'm all smiles again. I have always been a slow loser and thats if I lost anything at all in the past. Luckily were not the ones who are gaining during the holidays like the other . Theres so many benefits of loosing the weight slowly and they were listed above and I'll take it
  13. My stall is affecting me in a good way I guess, while I'm at work I climb 5 flights of stairs 2 times in my 12 hr shift and on my days off I'm working out 2x a day. I'm bound and determined to hit my goal for v-day

    P90x

My hubby burned the P90x for me but I've been so scared to try it out. So keep us posted on how your doing with it and I might just have to jump on the bandwagon
  15. Thats great news, same thing happened to me but I'm not in a medium just yet
  16. I thank god everyday for this site and for the people I have met on it. I get some nasty migraines and someone said it could be my sugar levels dropping or whatever. I eat 1 piece of chocolate (Herseys dark chocolate) and the migraine goes away, what a concept, lol

NO SLEEVE FOR ME!!!! : (

I would seriously get a second opinion. I had GERD bad and I mean bad. I would throw up in my sleep and I was on 2 different kinds of stomach medicine for it. Now I'm 8 weeks out from the surgery and I'm fine as long as I take my PPI.
  18. LESLIEH

please tell me it will get better

Yes it will get better, the first couple of weeks are the hardest. The first 2 weeks I would say I actually wanted to die and I cried everyday but now I'm 8 weeks out and I soooo love my sleeve and would do it all over again
  19. Ok so last night I weighed myself and I'm up 2 lbs, hubby is insisting it's me retaining water. I'm sooo not happy right now, I'm to be losing weight not gaining or stalling this early out

  20. Frustrated as all get out. I haven't lost any weight since the stomach flu bug hit me and this morning I weighed myself and I'm up 1 lb, WTF.... Guess I gotta work out harder

  21. Happy New Years to all my fellow sleevers, enjoy tonight and be safe out there

  22. At work and got a lil break before the roads ice up again and I climbed 4 flights of stairs, whew. I'm bound and determined to break this stall

  23. I know were not suppose to be drinking ya ya ya. I used to drink a lot so these past 7 weeks have been so hard with family get together's and the holidays without having a drink, well I did cheat a bit. I had a half of a shot of chocolate cake, yummy. Now for New Years Eve I'm having a drink it's a must do type thing. But what is kinda safe and not to harsh? I will not be having my typical tequilla or rum only because I really don't want something that harsh in my tummy, I know so then why drink right? Well I'm toasting in the New Year because I'm so over this year so any advice on whats kinda gentle on the tummy would greatly be appreciated
  24. See even though I want to drink I am a lil bit scared so one glass will probably do me. When I say I was a big drinker I was. My mom and I would have the big bottle of tequila every other day, yup us woman in the family can drink, even my hubby who can pound beers couldn't believe it. But thanks for the replies I will have one glass of something light, prolly wine and leave it at that, well unless my mother in law insists on me taking a shot of chocolate cake and you don't say no to ur mother in law, lol
