  3. Oh BTW! I hope all is well and you're feeling good after surgery! Good luck on your journey!

  4. Papapya Enzymes are chewable tables used to help food digest... you can buy them at Walmart (i got mine here) or I'm sure anywhere that sells vitamins... you use them when something is stuck in your stoma... I didn't need them until I had my 2nd fill I believe.... I was eating to fast didn't chew well enough and got stuck...

  5. It's official I'm 5mo Post Op! Whoo Hoo!! Also, I just want to say, thanks to all those who read my blog... I had no idea you guys were commenting until today so I'll try to keep up with it more! :)

  6. Have you had surgery yet? if so how are you doing?

  7. 2 Days Until my 5mo Bandiversary! almost down -50lbs! Woohoo! :)

  9. I got my Chike shakes from my Drs office... I'm not sure where else they're sold... sorry I couldn't help! :(

  10. 3 month BANDiversary!! YAY!!!

  11. July 21st is fast approaching! I'll be 3 months Post Op!!! New Blog entry to follow...

  12. Mine is more sporadic... I work out at least once a week where I'm actually doing something for the purpose of working out, but I try to move and be active everyday... break a sweat everyday even if it's playing on the Wii with my niece LoL!

  13. 10wks Post Op +still losing!!! almost -40lbs down!!!

  14. Everything is going good on my end... slow and steady wins the race.. so they say! We'll see! What type of exercising are you doing to keep moving? How often do you work out?

  15. I'm doing great... I just got my first fill on the 6th and I'm definitely learning how to chew chew chew and how to take smaller bites of food. I haven't had a "stuck" episode with the PB and sliming that everyone talks about, but I have had my moments of discomfort where I have to tell myself "slow down...chew your food.. small bites" ... it's been a learning experience!

  16. 7wks Post Op + One Fill (5.3cc total in my band)!

  17. 3 weeks Post Op and I'm sucessfully moving towards NORMAL!

  18. How is your weight loss journey coming along?

  19. I'm GOOD! I'm three weeks Post Op, and I feeling as normal as ever! I stopped taking my Metformin and Agestin, for my PCOS... and PreOp I had a period in March nothing in April, but I just got it again this month, so if it shows up in June, this could be a start of something good, sort of.. lol! I'm not used to having a period every month, but this IS good! I'm closer to normal!

  20. 1.2 weeks (1wk + 2days) Post Op and I'm surviving!

  21. But I know the frustration of going through a 6month diet/class and having to wait... I've been looking into WLS for over a year, so have patience, and once it happens, it'll go by so fast you won't know what hit you! Good Luck!

  22. Did a physical check up with him, bought my protein drinks from him for my two week preop liquid diet and that was it. They gave me a surgery date same day. Mind you I work at a hospital so I have hospital ins which is pretty good for the most part (United Health Care). I went and saw a Psychiatrist and once that was done they submitted my paperwork... Easy as pie! (Not trying to brag, LoL)

  23. No, mine was relatively easy... I was planning on RNY with another dr, so I was already doing a 6 month diet which is required for that specific doc. My ins only wanted 5yr weight history, psych eval, and a list of comorbidities if any... I decided to see another doc about lapband, which I learned about from a coworker of mine... I saw him and knew that the band was what I wanted...

  24. I just had my LapBand placed April 21st... when is your surgery date?

  25. Home from surgery! Tired, sore throat, and sore, don't think it's gas, but I'm surviving!
