Nicotine lasts only a few days but cotinine can last up to 30 days, depending on weight, diet, amount of smoking and other factors. I only know this because I asked my PCP when my surgeons office required a continine text for smoking. Good luck

Hello, I am due to have the sleeve surgery on 5/20 and have worked so hard to get to this point. Now that everything's established, I just have one problem. I have no money left for Protein. If anyone has any protein that they don't want or use, send it to me. I will pay for shipping and may take deals if deals are offered. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't completely necessary. Welcome! I am being sleeved by Dr. Kim on 5/20! Do you all live in Tx? Im coming from NC and am looking for inexpensive flights and hotel. I paid my deposit and my insurance is paying the rest. Where are you all having the surgery at? Im having mine at victory medical. Also, anyone who is having their surgery before me, can you try to leave a detailed account of how everything went? In Mexico, no referral is needed. You fill out forms( health questionnaires),usually speak with a coordinator and after the doctor evaluates all the information,you pay the deposit and pick a date.---- This is how it usually goes, but everyones experience may vary

I dont mean to but in but im a bit confused.. dr. Ilian is a newer surgeon, right? And dr. Kelly had been doing this for many years right? So why would a more well known surgeon who has been doing this longer be assisting a newer surgeon? I dont have any facts but it just doesnt sound likely. What does sound likely is that because dr. Ilian is much newer, dr. Kelly is watching and "assisting" if theres an issue. I also dont see why you even responded... obviously lora would know better than you, right? Oh, before anyone tries to blow this out of proportion... i come in peace. These are just my thoughts

I couldn't agree more. Today my financing fell through and was pretty hurt since I have no other way to get the surgery. I texted back and forth with Lora for hours trying to find an answer. She came up with lots of great ideas. (None I can use unfortunately) because of my crappy credit. She related to me like a REAL woman and not a staff member. I just want to say, even if I find someone, another person or company that can finance me with a different doctor, I WONT, and its all because of Lora and Dr. Kelly. I want this surgery sooo bad but I will stay loyal and real to the ones that have been real to me...It will happen soon enough. I cant say when, but can say with WHO.

I am down!! I haven't had the surgery yet, but I will shortly(hopefully). I dont think a cruise is the best bet because of the food, but anything else sounds great!! Are you going to try to work this all out?? I hope so and keep in mind, most vacations have group discounts depending on how many parties attend... P.S If you guys do decide on a cruise as the way to go, I can still help. I booked cruises as a travel agent and can probably find some great deals and even apply my travel agent discount..

I moved this from pre-op to post op based on some good advice there----I'm trying to find out who has lost 100 pounds or more. Also, who was your doctor and how far out since surgery are you? Also, what was the doctors personality like? Last part, how long did it take you from intake to surgery date? For these question, Im mainly looking for responses from people who have had surgery inside the United States. The reason why Im asking is because now that I have insurance, its time to pick a doctor. I want a doc that has a proven track record for success, and not from reviews on their website, but from real live people on the boards. I do know that I will have to also extensively research on my own, but Im trying to find out who has worked for YOU! Im hoping that I get LOTS of responses! I am on here EVERY day and hope you all can guide me in the right direction! Thanks in advance!!
