Hey there (: I got sleeved July 14, I remember being woken up by the nurse in the recovery room, she asked me if I had any pain and I sure didn't I didn't have any pain at all, my whole hospital stay was so smooth, I didn't have nausea, no gas chest pains, I got up of bed 2hrs out of surgery to walk, I showered the next day, I did NOT press the morphine button at all, the hardest part for me was drinking the Protein Shake every day I got disgusted of drinking it every day lol sale flavor, yuck . I started beauty school a week after surgery, im doing really good and I hope it stays that way, I'm 19 I weighed 213lbs and Monday is my first weight in :-) goodluck with your surgery ! Thereafter nothing to be afraid of .

@day dreamer, ahh Im always drinking Protein Shakes uh there irritating me now lol haha they were good at first but then it just started tasting nasty I'm tired of my Protein Drink and liquids I get so dizzy I need something to like satisfy me of something lol help !

I'm just curious when can I start eating salads I'm only 8days post op. My body needs something I can't shower without feeling like I'm going to faint. one more week of liquids then ill begin my soft foods. But uhh help lol

My doctor said its ok to eat a scrambled egg after two weeks. I'm on my 8day post op lol waiting for that lovely day I can eat a scrambles egg. I'm tired of these darn liquids!

Hello everyone ill be getting sleeved tomorrow at 12, I can't lie I'm scared lol. Well my name is Cecilia I'm 19. I have a couple of questions, I'm 215lbs & 5'5, well to start with I'm pretty concerned about the chest pains from the gas, is there anything I can do to prevent the pain ? And also I start school July 26th only 12 days after surgery ill be attending school from 8:30am-5:00pm Tuesday-Saturday, is that too soon after surgery ? And also I'm scares about the loose skin, do teens heal better ?

Thank you so much ! I appreciate you taking some time in your day to reply to this post. I'm so excited. I'm actually pretty comfortable with my body I love me for me I love every inch of my body. BUT I'm not healthy and I'm happy I'm gettin the surgery because its just time for me to change and start making health choices. I hope and pray you get approved for your surgery! Hey everybody my name is Cecilia I'm 19yrs old 214lbs and I just got approved for my surgery! I'm so excited, I have so many questions for all of you! My surgery has been scheduled for July14th. My mother is having her surgery June9 . were so happy, BUT I'm a bit worried because I suffer from a chronic anxiety disorder, does any1 else ? Or did you ? Anyone else weigh 214lbs or around there? How much did you loose?

Hi, my name is Cecilia I'm 18yrs old 5'1 and 230lbs I will be having surgery in march or April only if my insurance approves! I'm really really excited, BUT.. a lil concerned about the excess skin? Also how long does it take to heal up after surgery is there any pain from the 5 incisions?. Did anyone here have extreme pain after surgery? Pls update me!!
