I would like to know what kind of tests we take before the procedure.

Here I am over 50 and will be 60 this year and will be a skinny 60. I am down 36 lbs and was banded on the 31st of Dec with one fill. 2nd fill this coming Thursday. I am so happy with my band even though it took forever to get it because of all the test and meetings but well worth it. Good luck. Judy

I have an appointment next week to visit the facility, and see if my ins. will pay for anything. I don't have any idea about anything yet. I am so excited just to have decided to do it. I could sure use your help about what to eat and what not to eat, etc. Wow, 30 llbs in a little over a month. I am so happy for you. How much do you want to lose? I am also happy to see someone over 50.
