    drain?

I had lap band to sleeve on Wed 3/30 and went home with a drain, it gets removed on Tuesday and the idea of it coming out freaks me out! Do they just pull it out? I feel like I can't do anything with it hanging off of me.

    Why is everything sweet?

Now can you give examples of strained cream soups?
  4. Lap band 2011 and had it removed and got the sleeve on 3/30/16. So much scar tissue it took 90 minutes to remove it all and then she proceeded with sleeve and endoscopy. I'm ok just tired and sore. I'm glad she did it all in one day. She told me recovery would be from 2-4 weeks and I'm ok with that

Sleep on your left side, I did the immediately after surgery on Wed and I had no issues with gas pains
  6. Suzyquzy how was it when your drain was removed? I have one too and is it gonna hurt when it's taken out. Sleeved on the 30th
  7. So i had my lap band removed after 5 years, too many issues. My surgeon removed all the scar tissue, (90 minutes to do that) and got sleeved. It's been so long I forgot how it feels. Finally home after one night in the hospital. Starting on liquids and have a drainage tube! So far so good! I would appreciate and info or tips from anyone. Also if anyone had a drainage tube can you prepare me for how it will feel when it comes out? Thanks!!!! I'm looking forward to this new journey! [emoji4]
  8. MichelleStevens, I'm getting band to sleeve on Wed and all my issues sound similar to u, I'm going in at 190 and my heaviest was 250! I'm nervous and scared but I'm tired of having issues and not being able to just grab water n drink it
  9. Having surgery Wednesday, is it that bad to have some caffeine tonight as I'm driving long distance home after 10 pm! I'm struggling to stay awake!
  10. Ok my surgery is getting closer! My doc told me 1-2 days in hospital and send home with drainage tubes. Anyone give me some info on the tubes and are they discreet and do you think I will be up to a Dodger game 16 days later! Also bummed I can't do my 10k in May, she told me too soon and chance of dehydration! So bummed as its a RunDisney event! And info and advice greatly appreciated!

    The ghost of my port...

What do u mean by this?
  12. So I finally got the call I been waiting for over a month! I will be getting my band removed (2/2011) and getting a gastric sleeve. I have had too many issues and can't get my band any tighter because when I do I can't literally even drink a sip of water. Other issues as well but I'm excited and would love any info on anyone who has done this and what is recovery time for this since my surgeon told me it will be longer and I also will have drainage tubes as well. I have a 10k scheduled for May 7 and my surgery is March 30th. Thanks
  13. Me! Atascadero! I see Dr. Bounoa, will be getting a band to sleeve revision next month
