    sleepy after meals

I have experienced the same thing many times. I do not feel that I over eat so no, I don't think it's from over eating. I also yawn when I'm full. It's strange and not something I've heard anyone else mention on any of the forums I frequent.
  2. I also had Dr. Pleatman. My insurance company did not cover any bariatric surgery which I would have qualified for if it had. I am not loosing at a rapid rate but am very happy with my results so far. Not alot of pain, no nausea and my insisions are healing nicely with minimum scaring expected. Dr. Pleatman is straight and to the point. As far as I am concerned he is very good at what he does even if he doesn't have much of a sense of humor. There is also a doctor in the Muskegon area that charges the same price for cash pay Brian Gluck. Depends which side of the state you are on.
  3. I slept with just the sheet all winter but since surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago I have to have extra blankets. I even wore gloves a couple of nights because I couldn't get warm enough to go to sleep!

    Sometime in June

Only your doctor knows the exact answer to that question. Not all diets have been the same but I think it goes something close to 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks pureed (mushie) 2 weeks soft food and then adding more solid protein in gradually.
  5. I would say, go get yourself a bottle of colace and then be faithful about taking a stool softner every night before bed.
  6. Welcome to VST forums herbie :)
