Thursday: Big day for me.. I will get my surgery date and start my 7-14 day pre op diet... Remember 2 months ago when I said it doesn't feel real? Scratch that! LOL

Day ??? (maybe 4) of my Helidac therapy! Tummy hurts and feel like poo, so I need to stick it out for another 10 days - surgery is right around the corner.

Tested positive for H Pylori. Hope this doesn't push back my surgery... ?!?! Going to call the nurse back and ask..

Doing my pre-op EKG and Chest X-ray today... woot woot getting closer!

I thought waiting for approval was nerve wrecking.. knowing it will actually happen is even crazier! LOL

I got approved - btw those are tears of joy and relief from the wait

Psych eval (350 questions - oh my), nut and labs all done. Need EGD(?) before pre-op consult but otherwise only waiting on insurance approval!! Woot woot

Just curious if I can "finance" the out of pocket & deductable expenses?!? I have Anthem BCBS but will be out of pocket 3-4k. Hmmm

Starting my day with a wicked migraine. Anyone have migraines so bad they use prescriptions? Did they get better or worse post op?

I was thinking about a little post op gift to myself (I am not post op yet LOL). Anyway, I was thinking about buying a super cute, girlie, special small plate just for me. Did you get yourself a post op gift?

OMG no energy.. can barely keep my eyes open. Just took my vites; any ideas?? Does that 5 hour energy thing really work?

Hmmm anyone watching the treads on OH? Someone said they went full foods at 1 week...? Ever seen this before? My Dr said it would be 2-4 months..

My PCP refused (flat out) to retest me for Diabetes even though I have been very thirsty and dizzy lately. Hoping my surgeon will do blood work on me to see what is going on?!?

Still waiting for my appointment.... just want to know if I will be approved. Sigh
