  1. well....after discussion with the Dr, he put me on Promethazine and Zegerid to help with all of the nausea and vomiting. Today has been a very quiet peaceful day, knock on wood. I have kept down about 50 oz of fluid and the dehydration symptoms are working themselves out just fine. Thank you all for the suggestions. I'm really struggling with the nausea I guess.
  2. Thank you all very much. Headed back to the Dr first thing in the AM.
  3. My surgery was on 9/19. For the last 3 days I haven't been able to keep a thing down. I am literally throwing everything up, including water. Any advice would be appreciated.
  4. Yup. I will be there on 10/3.
  5. Dave from Louisville,KY here. I was sleeved last Monday (9/19). Top weight 2 years ago was 400lbs. Sleeve weight was 323. I look forward to getting to know my fellow losers in the mens area! I plan on getting back to the gym after the 6 week no lift and getting rolling with my new life. I'm 42 and don't know why I waited so long to pull the trigger on this.
  6. Rats...the cat is out of the bag on me I'm excited and ready to roll with this thing.
  7. Good luck WildOats. I was rejected the first time and approved on appeal. Surgery date is Sept 19th!
  8. Louisville here. I go to the meetings at Baptist East every month. Scheduled to be scheduled on 8/18.
  9. hopefully it goes much smoother. Mine's coming up soon. I told my wife last night that I have to watch out for objects dropping out of the sky and things jumping up and grab me over the next couple of weeks. Last night I cracked my head on the bottom of my 4 ft deep swimming pool and knocked myself silly. Watch out for ladders and black cats!
